.Cracks In A Perfect Shell.
This IS a Tobi Love Story. Tobi is the life of the Akatsuki gang. He acts more like a child than a man and behind his candy mask hides a dark truth.
Chapter 1
Naruto? Never heard of it.
"Oi! Haru-Chan!" I poked my head up from behind my Manga at the sound of my BFF's voice. She ran up to me with unreal speed. Clearly she had a new Anime to show me. "Omg! You have to watch this!" Tama thrusted a magzine into my hands, as she slid into the cafe bench. "Na..ruto?" I asked skimming over the magzine. "Yeah. Naruto." Tama ordered some coffee I knew she'd sugar up. "But get this, were late. This Anime has been out for years. Now there's a whole new show called Naruto Shippuden. This one happens to be when the characters are grown up." Studdenly I screamed. "No wonder they don't look familler. I've been watching Shippuden clueless to the fact that I've never even laid eyes on them as kids!"
"What!? You've been watching the best Anime out there and you never told me!" Tama screamed too. Students turned their heads and whispered, clearly talking about the freaked out Otaku.
"Look." I handed Tama the Manga I was reading. I had to cover her mouth before she screamed her lungs out again. Glancing at my Hello Kitty watch, I stuffed the magzine into my book-bag. "Hey Tama-Chan. Let's ditch." Of course Tama was all for this since it meant more Anime and Manga time. Our teachers were strict on us not reading and using electronics in class.
"My parents are on vacation. They left me a ton of cash." Tama told me as took the shortcut to her house. We watched Naruto on her plasma tv. Tama's room was junky with Anime posters and drawings of hot Anime guys. We cleared out a space on the floor with snacks and whatnot. Two minutes into the first episode of Naruto Tama said, "Boring!"
"Yeah. Shippuden is way better." I agreed. "Much more hotter guys in there."
We switched Anime's and were content untill a loud sound mimicked the one in the Anime. Like a earthquake had hit it the house shook. Tama and I clung to each other, educated that Japan tended to have a lot of earthquakes. We screamed our hearts out as the tv cracked in two, falling straight for us. Bracing for impact, we squeezed each other harder. Darkness came and the sense of falling. Below me I could see the Akatsuki cloud symbol. In the distance I could see Tama. Her eyes were closed. She looked dead. "Tama! Tama- Chan!" I yelled. Below her was a meadow. Was I going to hell and she to heaven? I was good most of the time. Maybe I could have went to church more. I closed my eyes and embraced my death.
