When Will It End...?

When will this storm end?
When will the raging winds die down?
When will the rain stop?

Does no one care
That I'm out here
Freezing
In this storm
Alone?
Does anyone care?

Will anyone be waiting for me?
Will anyone bring an umbrella?
Or am I just meant to endure
These soaking rains
This loud thunder
This flashing lightning
This storm that threatens me.

Will anyone come to save me?
Will anyone shelter me?
Bring me warm blankets?
Surrounded by other who care?

The cold, freezing rain
Mixes with my warm tears
As I lay here
In this storm
Alone.

Does anyone care?
