Walking in my shoes PART 2

I woke the next morning before the sun came up and I saw lights. I got up and walked toward them. The lights were flash lights. When I get close enough I heard two people talking. One was Ash Redfern. The other was my crush. “Jake all of circle daybreak is looking for her but all we have found is a paper with your name in a heart.” What they found that now he know.

Jake had his head down, “this is bad her mom and dad said if they found her she was dead.” Jake sounded as if he was going to cry. I couldn’t take it. I maybe weak but I pulled myself up and walked out. I could tell that they were surprised. Jake surprised me by running over and hugging me. Ash gave one of his lazy smiles. I hugged Jake something I had only dreamed about.

“You need to be more careful,” Surprised I turned around and saw Keller. She also was a shape-shifter and my friend. It had been three years since I saw her. Both of us smiled and hugged each other. After that we stared to walk north. I had been going west. Nice huh? I remember leaning against Jake while walking but I was so weak that I passed out shortly into the journey.
