Here Alone

As I stand and stare outside my window, the cars racing by, in the pouring rain at dark
The trees and bushes sway in different directions, my head spinning around with them; a piercing pain sinks to my heart.

My eyes burn as tears stream down my cheeks; I turn away
Flashbacks of you and I suddenly fill my head, why didn't you stay?

I collapse to the floor below me, gripping the soft carpet
Tears pouring from my eyes, crying silently as I slowly form in to a ball
Why did you leave? Leave me alone, alone in this place? What did I ever do to deserve this? This miserable world of empty space.

I cry even harder as more visions of us force themselves in to my mind, I almost feel like I'm dieing and I'm the last of my worthless kind.

Why did you leave? Why did you go? What did I ever do to be left here alone.
