Melanie - How dare you come into my house and start....

Just then Randy decides to make his entrance -- he walks through the door carrying a bouquet of Melanie's favorite flowers -- daisies.

Melanie - (smiling at him) hi

Randy - (closing the door behind him) hi

Melanie - Randy did you?

Randy - What get these for you? (pointing the flowers in your direction) Of course I did.

Randy - So Steph just came by for what...(cocking his eyebrow at Mel) visit???

Melanie - Yea, well she also saw me at the office today turning in my...uh...forms you know to start back to work and school and she probably realized we are going to be working together again.

Melaine - What...what are you wondering about?

Randy - There's more isn't there -- is anything else you want to tell me?

Melanie - Oh...of course for the flowers. I don't know what to say...they're beautiful thank you so much. What's the occasion.

Randy - No, occasion I just wanted to give my wife flowers.

Melanie - That is so sweet of you. You didn't have to do that. You really are amazing supporting me going back to work and moving Maggie in here so we can help her with her illness. You are the best you know I really don't deserve you.

Randy turns away from her.

Melanie - What's wrong?

Randy - (turning around to face her) nothing, nothing I just love you so much I hope you know that.

Melanie - (taking a deep breath) I love you too so much (quickly walking over to him and hugging him)

After they hug

Randy - You know I am really sorry I interupted you and Stephanie earlier.

Melanie - (shaking her head) don't be.

Randy - You said she came in here for a friendly visit but when I walke in....

Melanie - It's nothing....I think maybe by then we were just starting to get on each other's nerves

Randy - (still fishing) Really? And that's all? There isn't something more than that?

Melanie -Well, I might be under-stating it just a little bit.

Randy - So what were the two of you fighting about?

Melanie - I can only assume that the reason you are asking me what we were fighting about is because you didn't actually hear the conversation?

Randy - I heard raised voices that's all.

Melanie - Oh I see.

Randy - You don't have to tell me if you don't want too.

Melanie - (shaking her head) No, I don't. (walking behind him) But I am going too because you are my husband you deserve to hear the truth.

Randy - (turning to face her) So what is the truth?

John - Stephanie and I were agruing about John.

Randy - Really?

Melaine - She is inscure about their relationship and she blames me.

Randy - Why would she want to fight with you about that?

Melanie - I don't know it seems when things go wrong with her relationships she always blames me. Example of that would be -- Test, you, John I'm like her escape goat.

Randy - Oh so it's like she is being irrational -- so you mean to tell me that is has nothing to do with the fact that you could have given her reason to think other wise?

Melanie - No

Randy - Like you could be interested in John

Melanie - Look it's like I told her I love you when I said, "I do" on our wedding day. I committed my heart and my life to you and I haven't gone back on that commitment so rather you like it or not you are stuck with me.

Randy - Well, if that is what you told Stephanie then I am sure that you convinced her.

Melanie - I hope so.

Randy - Yea, but me...not so much. I just don't think that is all you and Stephanie were fighting about. You see I know Stephanie pretty well and she just not that paranoid all the time there is gotta be a more concrete reason.

Melanie - Well, not that I know of.

Randy - Really? Really?

Melanie - Okay Okay...(hopping up on the kitchen counter top) I have something I have to admit to you.

Randy - What's that?

Melanie - (looking at him lovingly) there was a time before our wedding I wasn't so sure that I could marry you because of John.


Randy - So do you still have feelings for him?

Melanie - (shaking her head) No I don't. I told you those doubts those feelngs everything are in the past when I said my vows to you I meant every word.

Randy - Hold on a second are you still confused is that why Stephanie was upset.

Melanie - (sighing) Look, there is nothing I value more in this life that you -Randy.

Randy just stares at her.

Melanie - (starting to cry) Say something please.

Randy - How do I know that this is truth...how do I know that you are not lying to me? (he turns his back on her)

Melanie - Randy, please look at me.

Randy turns and looks at her.

Melanie - I love you more than anything I married the right man. Do you believe me? Please say you do.

Randy walks over to her and starts to kiss her. They end up in the bedroom in the bed. Randy is laying on top of her.

Melanie - (stop kissing him) You never answered my question. Do you believe that I love you.

Randy - I am almost convinced.
