A Field Trip to remember.

Who knew sitting on a bus could be so frustrating. Hallie Parker and her two best friends Melanie and Krista were squished together in one bus seat. They all had only one thing on their mind: Washington Outdoor School. An hour and a half of dreaming to be there was like having an icecream sundae right in front of you but you can't have it. "I hope we are almost there!" said Melanie. Then the bus pulled to a stop and there ahead of them was a sign that read "Wasington Outdoor School". Krista was clenching her fists together eager to get off the sweaty, boring bus. "Oh my gosh! We're here! Look at the place! It's amazing!" Krista said. "I should've brought my laptop though to down load pictures. But, this is OFF THE HOOK!" Melanie said. "You'll live. We have dorms and bunks and jeez! This is so going to beat electronics!" Hallie said as she motioned Melanie to start moving out of the seat. "Fresh air!" Krista exclaimed as the students piled out of the bus. They all walked behind their teacher to their directed dorms. Melanie, Hallie, and Krista were all in the same dorm. Hallie entered her dorm opening her mouth in awe. Krista and Melanie followed behind. Melanie was smiling so big it looked like her mouth would pop right off. Krista just ran in to the dorm. Krista dropped her duffle on a bottom bunk and just stood there looking around. Hallie put her duffle on the top bunk of Krista's bed. Melanie found another bunk right next to Krista and Hallie's bunk. As they got a good look around the place they noticed two girls from the other school across the room and they did not look pleasant. "Who are they?" Melanie whispered. In the middle of the two girls stood a tall skinny girl with long wavy auburn hair. "I don't know. But that girl in the middle... I can just tell by looking at them she's like the leader!" Krista said rolling her eyes. "Don't mind them. They won't be bad. Now let's grab our packed lunches! We are having lunch in a minute!" Hallie said grabbing a paper bag. All the girls in their dorm lined up behind a teacher and they walked over to the dining hall. Outside was filled with woods like their teachers had explained. Tree's with all sizes were crowded in the air. Every one marched through the snow that covered the ground in their boots. "I'm hungry!" Melanie said. "Oh my gosh! Seriously? Ok next your going to tell me you have to sneeze or something!" Krista giggled. "Mabey!" Melanie said. They all laughed and entered the dining hall.
"If I ever have to pack a lunch for a feild trip camp again, I won't pack so much! Good thing they are not counting how much we waste for this meal!" Krista said. "Are you going to eat your cookie? Because if you aren't, I'll eat it!" replied Hallie who was sitting right across from Krista. "No! I'm going to eat that. Oh and my sandwich! All I have left is my energy bar but I am getting full!" "DANG! Meanie!" Hallie said sarcastically. The girls were already having fun just by eating. "Wow! I bet this week is going to be so fun! All the other grades back at school are like in their own dull world! Take that six graders! Seventh graders rule!" Melanie said. "Oh know you didn't! You totally dissed those sixth graders!" Krista said snapping her fingers laughing. 'Yeah you did! That was an awesome comeback even though they aren't here!" Hallie said. Soon, lunch was over and they were getting ready for learning how things would work. It was going to be the best part of seventh grade this year. They just knew it. Unless troubles were headed their way. And that, was just the beginning.
All the kids were sitting next to eachother on the floor in the dining hall. Several counslers were up in the front waiting for all the kids to get settled. "I can't believe this is happening! I'm actually here !" Krista whispered. "Shhhh. But yeah! I'm happy too!" Hallie replied back making sure no one was watching. "Ok my name is Jill and I will be one of the teachers slash counslers!" said a counsler with red hair. "I'm Mister Gren and I will be a teacher also!" said a bigger man with a beard and long hair. He talked slow. "You guys will have fun this week going outside learning about things! Well we hope!" said a cocky girl counsler. All the counslers introduced them selves. They even learned a fun song after that. They knew that they wouldn't be there that long so they would make the best of everything that would happen. They couldn't wait to go outside and learn and explore. They just hoped that nothing terrible would happen in the next few days. To bad they can't predict the future. They knew new adventures would happen, and couldn't wait to start.
