Love & Heartbreak Part 11

Randy upset at what he is seeing storms away and ends up at his best friends house Dave Batista. Once inside the house Randy helps himself to a glass whiskey from Batistia's wet bar.

Batista - Randy, what are you doing here?

Randy - (lifting the glass to his lips) What does it look like I'm doing?

Batista - Shouldn't you be home with your wife?

Randy - (taking a big glup) Why am I not with my wife? That's a good question and here's the answer because I'm an idiot.

Batista - You wanna tell me what happened?

Randy - (holding the glass up) I rather work on this drink (taking another big glup)

Batista - Randy, come on talk to me. Did you and Melanie have a fight?

Randy - No, no, no, no, no, no - not a fight it's not that simple, not that easy with a fight you get to make up you know. But this -- this is uh...

Batista - What?

Randy - Everything I believed about my wife and about my marriage is a lie.

Batista - So it wasn't a fight but apparently something happened between you and Melanie.

Randy - Oh...not between me and Melanie no.

Batista - Then come on...tell me what went down.

Randy - (taking in a deep breath) All you need to know is I am an idiot okay?

Batista - Alright I'll back off for now but can I just make a suggestion?

Randy - Yea,,,sure,,.sure...why not go for it (smart alecky)

Batista - It just seems to me whatever went down with you and Melanie...you shouldn't be here. Okay? You're newly weds you should be with her trying to fix this.

Randy finishes the last of the whiskey in his glass.

Batista - You shouldn't be here drinking you should be home talking to your wife.

Randy - Should I?

Batista - Yes

Randy - So is that what you think I should be doing? Is that what you did when you and Mickie James were having trouble? Did you...uh....talk to her? (smart alecky) How did that work out for ya? Huh?

Melanie and John

Melanie lightly pushes John away.

Melanie - Okay that was good-bye...now I want you to go.

John - Melanie I don't get it...you just told me that you were going to leave Randy for me.

Melanie - Yea, Yes I was.

John - What's changed? Are you afraid of him? Are you afraid of what he will do if you leave him?

Melanie - No, I'm not afraid of him and I'm not going to leave him. Look yes I loved you. Yes, I wanted to be with you and yes all that was true but it is not anymore. We're done John. I'll always have feelings for you but I'm just not going to act on them anymore.

John - You can live that way denying what we have.

Melanie - (nodding her head) I can...I will and you have to as well.

Kelly Kelly

She at her apartment looking at a picture of her and Evan Bourne while drinking a glass of wine. She grabs her purse to head out the door. As she opens it Randy walks up.

Melanie and John

John - I had this all played out in my head...uh...and you saying good-bye was not part of the picture. But I respect you too much to fight you on this and what I mean by that is since you have moved on I guess so will I.

Melanie - That's good.

John - Yea that's the way it's gotta be

Melanie - So we're done

John - Well, not really we still gotta see each other around the company.

They smile at each other

Melanie - We'll be co-workers

John - And friends

Melanie - I guess so

They hug

John - (letting go) Alright.

He smiles at her as he heads towards the kitchen door and leaves as Melanie watches him go she has tears in her eyes.

Later on that night

Maggie comes home and finds Melanie sitting at the table.

Maggie - (walking through the door) Hi Melanie

Melanie just waves at her

Maggie - (noticing she was upset) What's wrong honey? (walking around and facing her)

Melaine - Um....nothing....uh...nothing is wrong...something is acutally right for first time.

Maggie - Okay I"m lost I have no idea what you are talking about.

Melanie - Randy and I are finally going to be happy. For the rest of our lives now and forever.

Kelly Kelly and Randy

Kelly Kelly - Hey

Randy - (stumbling) Hey

Kelly Kelly - What are you doing here?

Randy - Ah....my wife...she is in love with another man.

(Kelly Kelly and Randy are best friends -- sorry I forgot to mention that before)

Randy - (walking through her door) the whole thing our marriage was a complete lie a total sham. (taking a swig out of the flask he was carrying) I am just a fool.

Kelly Kelly - (closing the door) No, you weren't Randy you were just following your heart. ( walking over and popping the cork of her wine bottle and pouring a glass for herself)

Randy - (drunkly) Yea, and it lead me right over a cliff just like it does every other time. (sitting down on her couch)

Kelly Kelly - Oh don't say that. You loved somebody passionality. (joining him on the couch) You couldn't have known that she was going to hurt you. You couldn't have known that somebody else had her heart.

Randy - No

Kelly Kelly - I didn't know either

Randy - You didn't know...wh-what did you know?

Kelly Kelly - I meant the samething for me with Evan somebody else has his heart. (tearing up)

Randy - What --What are you talking about who has his heart?

Kelly Kelly - Who do you think? His High School Sweetheart.

Randy - Trish Stratus??

Kelly Kelly - Hmmm...funny huh? You and me the people we love and both of them are cheating on us.

Randy - How do you know this about Trish and Evan?

Kelly Kelly - Oh! I just found out that they are at this sleazy motel together under fake names probably having slex right now. (starting to cry and leans against Randy)

Randy - Kelly you can't be talking about Evan and Trish

Kelly Kelly - Ugh...don't make me repeat it.

Randy - It doesn't make any sense sweetie - I mean c'mon Kelly the guy loves you.

Kelly Kelly - Not anymore okay? We had a fight (feeling the affects of the wine) a really bad one...the worse and he was furious at me. He left and went to the gym he then called leaving a message saying that he had an unexpected signing he had to do and would be gone all night. Which I know isn't true because I work for the company too and Vince has never booked a signing that takes all night since I have been with the company.

Randy - Yea, you are right

Kelly Kelly - I even went to the gym to be to apologize and to put this whole fight behind us. But when I got there I wasn't there he had left with Trish to the Knight's Inn Motel. I overheard another Diva talking about them leaving together.

Randy - A Diva...you over heard it from another Diva...maybe she is wrong.

Kelly Kelly - She wasn't wrong because I went to the motel. I bribed the clerk. I showed him a picture of Evan and I described Trish he said that they had checked in. They are probably still there right now.

Randy - That sucks.

Kelly Kelly - How could they do this to us?

Randy - (shaking his head) We have been played for fools Kelly both of us.(taking a swig of her wine)

Melanie and Maggie

Melanie - So John came over and we were talking and he made it vert clear that he still has feelings for me..um...but I told him I am completely commited to Randy we just have to find a why to be friends/co-workers.

Maggie - I see...um...so you are telling me that you no longer have feelings for John.

Melaine - No..well, I didn't say that ...um....I am completely 100% committed to Randy.

Maggie - Honey, (clearing her throat) being committed to someone and loving them are two different things.

Melanie - I know...I know....I know...but like I was telling John we can make choices you know like me being married to Randy. I am chosing to love him and only him and it's working it's happening you know it's just when John....

Maggie - When John what?

Melanie - I don't think he understood what I was saying at first so he kissed me.

Maggie - So you let John kiss you?

Melanie - He kind of took me by surprise. You know I should have just pushed him away. But I think it was good you know it was like um....closure. Even though I hate that word.

Maggie - Closure

Melanie - Yea, that kiss was closure...it was saying good-bye.

Randy and Kelly Kelly

Randy - Melanie....she was suppose to be the one. I gave her everything and this is what she does to me?

Kelly Kelly - Randy, she doesn't deserve you alright?

Randy places his flask and cell phone on her wet bar counter top.

Kelly Kelly - Look at me...(when he does) Melanie does not deserve you.

Randy leans in and starts kissing Kelly Kelly

Kelly Kelly - (pushing him away) Randy, what are we doing?

Randy - (slurring) I don't know...I don't know and I don't care.

He grabs her arm pulls her to him and as they kiss they fall unto the couch hungrily pawing at one another.

Melanie and Maggie

Melanie - So the Melanie John saga is over. We are going to keep it friendly and professional and nothing else.

Maggie - I see...wow I am impressed with your maturity

Melanie - So am I

Maggie - And your love for Randy as well as your sense of commitment.

Melanie - Well, I am a married woman.

Maggie - I know that but you are very young and you have defintely had some confusion about all this.

Melanie - Yea but now John and I have everything worked out. There is still something I have to do to be at peace with myself.

Maggie - And what would that be?

Melanie - I have to tell Randy. I want to be open and honest with him for the rest of our lives. ( walking over to her purse and pulling out her cell phone)

She dails his number.

Randy and Kelly Kelly

Randy does not hear his phone vibing on the wet bar counter because he is too busy having slex with Kelly Kelly on her living room floor.
