Have Faith.

I was walking to school with my iPod up full blast. Looking down at the ground. My little sister trailing behind me somewhere with her friends. Ive always lived on the reservation of La Push. It was a pretty sunny day for La Push, thank gosh. My sister and I had always gotten along which is a good thing. The only time we didnt get along was when her friends were around. I walked down an alleyway and all of a sudden a car was reversing out of a flat driveway. I looked up at the car and was shocked. I couldnt mve. I felt something hard and hot hit me. I looked up nd there was one of the wierd guys everyone talked about. THe person in the car didt realise he was tgere and ran his foot over. I looked at him worriedly. The person seen him nut didnt think they ran him over because he didnt fall to the floor. He looked at me.
"You.. you just pushed me out of the way out of that car and it ran you foot over!" I said.
"N...no if it did run over my foot I would be howling in pain." He laughed when he said howling.
"You...did I seen it." I said sounding crazy.
"No... are you sure you seen it?" He asked like I was crazy.
"Yes Im sure!" I said sounding crazier by the minute.
"We have to get to school. Come on." He said.
"Id rather not go to school after the morning I had!" I said.
"So youre skipping?" He asked.
"Yeah." I admitted.
"Mind if I come?" He asked.
"Why not?" I shrugged.
"Cool, Im Embry." He said.
"Oh youre that kid in my History class." I said.
"Yeah and your Science too." He said.
"Oh, really?" I asked.
"Yeah Im in your History with Jacob and Quil but in your Science Im by myself." He said.
"Oh right well anyways my name is Faith." I said.
"I like your name." He said.
"Thanks." I blushed he laughed then looked down. I looked at him and realised he only had a singlet on and he had a tattoo. "Arent you too young for a tattoo?" I asked.
"Nah the whole... lot of my friends do." He said like he was hiding something.
"Mad. Get it done at the same time?" I asked.
"Nah just a... thing between us." He explained.
"Okay mad." I said. My best frind had moved to New Zealand and I was quiet lonely. I had other friends but they werent quiet my type of friends.
"You okay?" He asked I realised I had stopped and was standing there like a spaz.
"Huh? Oh yeah Im fine." I said looking down. Really I wasnt! My life had become so messed up thanks to the people that gave me life! I snapped out of my train of thought only to realise Embry was right infront of me.
"You can tell me anything." He said taking my hand.
"Okay. My mum and das aplit up the other week and dad left, then mum couldnt handle it so she went away too. They both send me three hundred dollars each which helps us get through the fortnight, barely. I cant get a job because of all the tests for school and my ittle brothers are five and nine and my sister is thirteen so I need to be there for them. Im not even eighteen yet and all these responsibilities are put on me." I explained.
"Faith dont worry, youre a bright girl youll figure it out." He said.
"Whats your brother and sisters name?' He asked me.
"My sisters name is Claudia, my five year old brother is Thomas and my other brother is Wyatt." I explained.
"Aww cool." He said.
"Yeah." I laughed.
"Faith," Emry said looking at me. "if you need any help. Im here for you."
I looked at him shocked. The guy that was a big wystery was offering me help! Wow!
"T..thanks Embry?" I stutered.
"Its okay." He smiled down at me. We were at a prk and I decided to sit down on the swing. He started pushing me. I laughed softly.
"Your laughs cute." He mumbled.
"Really?" I giggled.
"You heard?" He asked.
"Yeah I did actually." I smiled.
"Okay." He said everything went quiet except the noise of the swing. We heard a sound of a wolf howling and Embry had stopped pushing me. I turned around and seen a pained look on his face.
"I have to go." He told me.
"Oh." I was kind of sad and I dont know why.
"Sorry, Ill meet you t the beach at three?' He asked.
"Cant have to be there for my little brothers and sister." I said.
"Oh okay." He said.
He left and after a while I jumped off the swing.
It started to rain and I wondered slowly away from the park. I found myself at the beach looking at the water; the rain sprinkling down. I sat on the slightly wet sand and looked gloomily at the darkening water. Man my life is messed up... I wish that car haad of hit me it would have been easier for eveyone. I hate my life how could the people that gave me life do this to me? I mean they dont understand how understand how it affects me. I heard the sand make noises behind me and it was Embry. I looked up at him and smiled. He laughed at my reaction.
