Draco and Hermione, Forbidden Love part 5

I was walking, almost jogging to keep up with Professor McGonagall's large strides. We climbed up, what seemed miles of stairs, when we came up to Dumbledore's office.
"Quality Street", she whispered to the statue guarding Dumbledore's office. I recognised the sweets straight away, my favourite was the green triangle. The golden statue jumped aside as the spiral staircase began to unravel before us.
"After you Miss Granger", she said to me gesturing a hand towards the staircase. i smiled weakly, not knowing if i was in trouble or not.
I entered the room with McGonagall, there was 3 people in the room, Dumbledore, a man and a woman that seemed strangely familiar to me, it was almost like I knew them from a different world.
The woman walked up to me and started hugging me saying,
"Oh, Hermione you don't know how long me and your father have been waiting for this moment". I looked at her, shocked.
"M-my f-fa-father?"
"Yes, Hermione i am your biological mother and this is your real father", the woman said to me with silent tears drifted down her face.
"You mean i was adopted, you gave me up?!" I said now more-than-silent tears started falling down my reddened face. I couldn't believe this, i can't believe that my own parents (if they really were) gave me up. If they didn't love me enough to keep me as a child, why should they talk to me now. But what about my muggle parents? Did they know, well of course they knew. But how come they never told me?
Excuse me, erm, mum( her face lit up) but how come my other parents are muggles?
"Well", said my real father, finally talking now,"We left you on their doorstep hoping they would take you in, I'd been following them for a week and found out your other mother was ill and could not have children. I heard her say she longed for a child, who would add magic to her life, so I thought, who could do that except my Hermione?", he said now trying to stifle tears.
"But why did you just leave me?, I sobbed now finding out my other mother was ill.
"It wasn't easy, but your mothers grandparents were very ill and she needed to tend to them and you, so she decided to leave you, but just for a short time, so she could take care of you properly later in your life. Do not worry, we have informed your other parents, they know everything. You are also a pureblood and your second name is really Haltina. I was shocked, people had been calling me by my second name wrong for all these years, and i was pureblood. I can't imagine the amount of apologies I need from all the Slytherins for calling me mudblood! I never really liked the name Granger! so i guess its ok but...
"Does anyone else know?" I asked them quietly so i could here the thoughts buzzing around in my head.
"Yes, Draco Malfoy", said my mother.
