Call of the Nightmares
This is Msell's birthday present!! Be nice!! I still don't have a clue what the heck she's turning so I'll make her 13!!!
Medina is a regular girl. She has dark hair and pale skin and she has nightmares. Here is when something weird comes in. The nightmares are different, but the same. She doesn't remember them in the morning, but she does remember them in the morning. And soon, they start coming true...
Chapter 1
The Nightmares
I walked deeper into the darkness, trembling with fear. My heart beat loud enough to wake anyone, but my feet drove me on. It was I cave, I think, though I don't remember the beginning of the dream. Yes, I was aware it was a dream. I made my own decisions, but could not influence anything else. I've had these dreams for a while now, I think.
I stopped, looking back. The tiny circle of light, half as big as a dime, that showed the exit to the cave was calling.
Go on.
That voice. I've heard it before. It had told be to go into the cave in the first place. I forced myself to look away from the light, unable to disobey the voice. I went on, my heart going ninety to nothing.
Suddenly I felt wind on my face. A tiny light. Floating. A huge chamber.
Medina, the wind whispered. A knife. A huge sharp blade. Flying. Toward me.
I sat up in bed screaming. My parents and little sister rushed in. My twin and older brother were a little slower.
" Medina!" Mom ran to hug me.
Dad yawned and went to comfort Katey, who had started crying. Sara Lee, my twin, sat beside me.
" Nightmare," I whispered.
" Again?" Frey groaned. He stomped out and we heard the thud of him slamming onto his bed.
Mom pursed her lips. " It's the twelfth time, Medina. And you're sure you don't remember it?"
I shook my head.
" Any of it?" she asked again.
" Mom, you ask this every night," I groaned.
" Honey, I'm trying to help," she sounded worried. " So you still don't remember, do you?"
I shook my head. I felt bad lieing to my mom.
