Okay so im Delanie, im in 8th grade almost freshmen! Im writing this story bout my 7th and 8th grade years. 7th grade not good so watch outt!
first day of school
its the first day of 7th grade, i know no one besides the people i went to elemantary school with. everything is different and bigger than i thought. and when its the first day of school its the first day of sports. I run cross country and its the first day of that (fun!) i thought. i ran up to my friend arianna, sadly im not on the same team as her. we talk for a little bit. but when the first bell rings we hed to homeroom which is down the hall, i meet up with lindsay who is my moms bestfriends daughter, its hard not to be mean to some times when she pushes me out of her way just to get to her locker.. rude. i thought this was gonna be a great day.
cross country
its time to train for cross country. none of my friends do it so i know no one. 'im all alone' i thought to myself. so i went up against the lockers and i see this cute guy come out of the locker room. i guess he thought i felt alone so he came up and talked for a little. "so whats your name"? he asked. "Delanie" i reply. "thats unique". "is that a insult or compliment"? i ask laughing. "who knows probably both". i give him a look and he walks away laughing. then this girl comes up and asked me if i knew who that was. "no" of course i dont its the first day of school. "thats jordan, hes the popular type"she says. "Well thats NOT me" i reply so whats your name? "im tammy" she replies. "You"? "im delanie". "thats a pretty name" "thanks". Now we became
good friends.
first cross country meet
the day of the cross country meet, For this we had to run about 2 miles. it was highland vs. lake central. They had a small team, seriously bout 3 girls and 2 boys. Either way we won. On the way home me and tammy sat in the back of the bus on one side, jordan and his friend max on the other side. we used my phone to listen to songs. "Hey, play You beong with me"! Jordan says. I reply "why?" "Cause". After that he was just being a big flirt.
We got off the bus and as we head towards the door tammy and i have an arm around our shoulders. "Who is that"? Tammy asked. "let me guess, jordan"? i say. "Yep, my 2 girls" he says. I rolled my eyes but i knew i started to like him. "i think he likes u" tammy said. "Whatever" i replied. But who knew he might.
