The Experiment
Lyre walked outside,very aware of her purple hair,and blue eyes,the Priests of Yelan always had these features,but the Priests of Yelan were few.A disease was passed through certain families,that gave them power to keep The Experiment locked up.
Widely loved by public,because they keep The Experiment locked up,without getting attached,for 13 years,at least.Two of them had to be in the room at the same time,and if they got sleepy,The Experiment could break the seal,if one left for a minute,The Experiment could break the seal,if they fought,The Experiment could break the seal.
Today,was Lyre's first day.She'd learned all the rules a week before,and was ready.She walked into the tunnel,and through a maze,finally she arrived,and the man gaurding the front door let her in.The Experiment looked up.
She told the man that looked sleepiest he could go.Then she settled down for a long day.She finally gathered the courage to look at The Experiment,she had heard it was some sort of ugly monster,or demon,that'd eat your soul in an instance.
But,instead of that,it was a young boy,of 16.He looked like a regular teen,besides for his eyes,they were the deepest purple you could imagine,and his hair had red streaks running through it.
She looked away,then looked down.
"You know.........they told me you were some sort of monster..but now I see they used you,an innocent boy,just to keep our country safe..Why couldnt they've used someone who screwed up their life?You didnt even get a chance...You cant even utter a word,because of the seal.....and we're using the powers you came up with against you......thats not fair at all........."
He closed his eyes,then just looked down,and Lyre started to cry.
"Oh,stop your fool pity.Thats a monster,if he gets out he'll kill everyone he sees.The goverment gave him too much power,it got to his head.Just go to sleep,and forget about it.Getting attached only makes this place worse."
She looked at the boy who'd spoken so unhumanly.
"So...whats your name?"
"I just told you,getting attached makes this worse.Better to shut it,and keep your thoughts to yourself."
Eventually,Lyre fell asleep,and the man got up.
She really thinks she can have pity on that monster?Well,Im gonna show her.Im gonna leave
He ran out the backdoor,and The Experiment's head shot up,the seal across his body lifted,he could move his hands again,then his feet,his legs,and finally everything else.He turned to the girl sleeping on the floor a few feet away,and walked over.
