The flight attendent shook me awake. i must have fallen asleep. i had already switched two flights to get to this one on the way to Volterra, Italy. "Miss?" she said shaking me again. "Oh! thank you for waking me up." i replyed. "no problem. your things are already in the car waiting for you." she said kindly. "thank you very much!" i said back. i got off the flight and headed to the plane exit. Descending the stairs, i noticed a car infront of the plane. it must be my ride. someone rolled the window down. it was aro. "do get in Breanna. we must get back to the tower." he said kindly. i got in and thanked aro for the flight over. he told me not to worry about it. we reached the tower (where they are located) without saying a word the whole way after that. i didnt really sparkle in sunlight because of the werewolf gene, so they didnt bother with the hood. i entered through the large wooden doors. it was so beautiful. the light was flowing through the stained glass shining down to where it landed on my face. aro led me to the throne room where the rest of the Volturi waited. as i walked into the room i noticed a 14 looking girl that had an almost hostile look on her face. im going to have to watch my back with her. "this is Ms. Breanna Hale. She is one of us now." aro told everyone. "hello, im Dimitri. ill be your "guide" with everything." he said to me with a too friendly smile. "okkkk....." i said uncomfortable. "let us go and ill show you to your room. i was imformed that you sleep." he said still smiling. this was going to get very awkward. "ok, lead the way." i said gesturing towards the door as i followed him. "i heard you were with the cullens before you came here. did you just get tired of them." he asked laughing. i stayed silent and just kept walking. "u gonna answer me?" he asked looking back at me. "oh umm.... i just thought it was better for everyone if i left." i whispered afraid of choking up. "ohhh! so thats the secret behind the curtain." he says suprised. "yeah." i said wishing for a subject change. "so, are you excited about this change?" he asked. "well it is a very beautiful city and i have always wanted to come to italy." i said trying to sound cheerful. "well here is your room." he said gesturing to an open door. "thank you." i said. "your outfit has already been selected." he informed me. i took a shower and put on the mini dress and robe on. i dragged my hair into a pony-tail and slipped on the heels before i walked outside. dimitri was waiting for me. "you look divine in that dress. Heidi did an amazing job on finding it and those heels." he complimented. "thank you." i said nodding. he offered his arm. "i wont bite.....hard." he said smiling. i relunctantly took it. we got to the throne room once again and walked in. "ah breanna. just in time. would you be so kind as to show us your abilites?" aro asked. i waited a second studying his expression. "of course." i said. all of a sudden dimitri grabbed me by my waist and tried to restrain me. i broke it and pulled him over my head and threw him into the wall. he was stunned for a moment but quickly recovered. i automatically switched into vampire mode to anticipate his attack. he tried to pin me to the ground but i soon flipped him over but felix came and pulled me off him. i flew into the wall. my head it hard but i got up and waited for them to come after me. they ran aat me from both sides. i glanced at them both and than jumped up at the last second. i watched them run into eachother below me. i kicked dimitri towards the doors and then threw felix against the wall and pinned him there. he tried to push me away but i was too strong. i heard dimitri coming back and round-house kicked him, while still keeping felix against the wall. aro laughed with true amusement. felix and dimitri stopped their attacks and in felix's case, struggling. i released him and backed away. "that was amazing breanna. i had heard emmett and jasper had worked with you, but never thought to this extent!" he said. i cringed at their names a little, but quickly recovered before they noticed. "thank you" i said. "is there anything else you can do?" asked marcus. i looked at caius and worked my magic. 'hey caius. what do you think i can do?' i asked forcing the thoughts into his head. this was the second time i attempted it, so it took a minute. when it happened caius looked startled. "what is it Caius?" Aro asked wondering what i had done to him. it had worked. "uh...i dont really know."he answered confused. "breanna?" aro asked. "i forced my thoughts into his mind." i said proud to cause confusion among them. "thats very interesting. can you prevent anyone from acting upon you?" asked aro. "i dont know yet. im just now experiencing my powers. i can shape-shift." i explained. "oh really? would you please demonstrate?" Caius asked. "well, i dont feel comfortable shifting right now, because i have an issue i havnt gotten use to." i said blushing. "what would that be if u dont mind me asking?" Marcus asked. "well when i shift...well my clothes get destroyed and frankly i really like this dress and feel it would be a waste if it got messed up." i explained. i really didnt want to shift back and be naked. that would be uncomfortable. "ok you dont have to then." Aro reassured. "thanks." i said. "we would like to test your powers every once and a while to make sure nothing else develops without us knowing." Caius said. i knew there was no other options, so i just nodded. "well breanna, would you like something to eat? and what do you eat?" Aro asked. i thought about it. "i eat human food and drink animal blood." i said. "You dont drink human blood?!" felix asked appalled and amused at the same time. "well no." i said. "why not?" "i just never had a taste for it." i said telling the truth. "ok well while you and heidi are out, you can slip out of the city and get you a 'snack'." aro said amused. Dimitri please take her robe and put it in her room. she has no need for it. its night time." aro said. This girl appeared out of no where and took my arm after dimitri took my robe. "time to go fishing." said the girl....................................TBC
