U.S.A. Poetry For Us (Chapter 2-- For Troops In Iraq -- Out!)

Many people's lives were lost
Thousands and thousands of people were cost
But this didn't make us fall on our knees
Faceless cowards is all America sees
Though this made us get down
We always wore a frown
Though a smile is not much work
But those who killed still lurk
So many people afraid and scared
No one ever there was ever prepared
We still cry and never forget those
Who fought all through the show
Who suffered a death
Just take a deep breath
Even though it brought us all down
We did what we did know
We did what we had to do
Even though everyone became blue
No escape from the horror,
No escape from the roars,
No escape from the cries of pain,
No escape from the vain,
Violence is only what we make it out to be
Look at a photo and tell me what you see
They always keep thinking
They are at the top; We are sinking
They always keep saying they are the alpha
But all we say are three little words--
