Lone Wolf

"No! Don't lay a finger on her!" James yelled and I smiled it was fake of course and I know he can tell it's fake because I'm losing this battle. My brother swung flames towards me and I moved to slow and the fire burned my stomach making me fall to the ground but I picked myself up.
"Your strong sister I will give you that." He mocked me and I bowed with any evil smile to show him I was strong. James was chained to the wall. I have to save us.
Micheal swung his whip again is it got maybe five inches from him it bursted into flames and it whipped me harder I didn't even try to move. Blood was now leaking down my shirt my tail was to weak to move. I lifted my hand and slammed it to the ground and rocks from the ceiling of the damp cave crushed down on Micheal but the guy got back up and just laughed it off.
"Goodbye sister." He said with a calm face and he raised his hands over his head and fire started to spread over the ceiling and rushed towards me. I looked at James he was perfect even now on my death bed. I smiled and used my last of my powers to cut him free.
"Run!" I yelled as fire covered my feet the circled around my closing in fast.

----3 weeks later---

I wok up slowly opening my eye's. Where was I? I raised my hands they looked weird I moved them.The blanket where tightly net around me and I had to wiggle my hips to loosen them. I stumbled out of the bed my feet didn't work how long did I sleep? I walked out as my feet tingled with every movement. I took a step and a soft beeping sound started to go off. I spun around to find it but lost my footing and fell to the ground. I cried out.
Foot steps pounded on the floor and I crawled backwards under the bed. Who was coming? Where they dangerous? The door opened slowly and my tail wouldn't stop swaying I scrambled under the bed trying to get a hold of it.
"Echo?" Who was Echo? But for some reason at the guys voice I wanted to crawl to who ever owned it reach out towards this masked voice because he was safety but who is he?
I looked up and when he looked down we stared at each other.
"Your awake!" He yelled reaching out for me his large hands reached down at me I scrambled farther under the bed. He dropped to his knees to stare at me I wanted to get so close to the wall but as soon as it touched me the cold scared me and I scrambled for the guy. Hopefully my gut was right.
"Do you know who I am?" He asked his heart was broken why?
I shook my head no.
"I'm James and your Echo did you know that?" He was broken I could tell by his voice water rimmed his eyes out of now where. It was amazing!
I reached my finger up to his to wipe the water away the drop got on my finger and I pulled it closer to me. I cocked my head to the side.
"It's a tear."
"Tee--Tear?" I mumbled. He nodded I stared up to him more water rimmed his green eye's why?
"Tear." I repeated and nodded. James lifted his hand I backed away was he attacking me? He put down his hand I reached for it. It was big I put my hand against his My hand was his palm. I laughed. He smiled I like his smile.
"Do you remember what happened Echo?" His words jumbled in my head but I got what he was saying from the words that made it trough to my head.
What happened I closed my eye's. I fell asleep...no...As I dug closer into my brain fire was closing around me I opened my eye's. Fire so much fire it burned!
"Fire!" I yelled out in pain clasping my hands on my head repeating the single word the brought the most pain.
James hand reached out for me this time I didn't move then he pulled my closer I let him his arms felt good it was warm.
"It's OK don't think about it." James whispered so softly he blow out the fire as simply as that. He must have some strange power or something like that.
His name is James why is that so important?
I moved my mouth saying the name in my head.
"Ja. Jae.." I shook my head no.
"Jams..James.." I smiled and looked up at him and he squeezed me tighter.
"Say your name now. Echo." I nodded his soft voice.
"X...o..." Was that right James shook his head no.
"Ec...o...Echo." I smiled my name is Echo.
Foot steps started to head towards this door and I tugged on James shirt we have to hide now!
I stared at me my eye's where wide with fear I can tell why can't I tell him.
I cried out. "Ahh!" I tugged him closer to the bed and pointed under it.
"No Echo its alright friend." Friend whats a friend I didn't even now what water was!
I cringed closer to James as a girl walked in. Her blonde hair was in a high pony tail her black and white dress was puffy.
"The Young Master has finally awaken." Her smile was sweet. She looked so close to me.
"She doesn't remember anything at all though." James said. Are they talking about me?
"She will learn. Don't give about on her." The lady said she she walked closer I got closer to James.
"I won't umm maybe you should not get close just tell I explain a bit." James said and she nodded and she walked away.
"James!" He made her go away!
"May I explain things to you do you think you will understand?" I nodded I could feel my lips push together my eye stared at his lips I was gonna get ever word those lips said.
He stared to explain and I listened and my life....my brother.
My tail stopped swaying and I stared in horror.
