Manic's Story (Read intro)

So, there I was, sitting on a log. I was tapping it with my drumsticks, waiting for something, I don't know, fun? Farrel walked over to me. "Hey Farrel!" I said standing up. "Oh no. I have lost my wallet. I do not know where it is." Farrel said strangely, which meant it's time to practice. Farrel 'looked around' for his wallet, and I held out a hand, revealing the 'missing' wallet. "Good boy Manic! You're growing up nicely!" Farrel said. "Thanks Farrel!" I said and hugged him. The next few hours, I heard something. "Manic, I want you to run and hide! Now!" Farrel said worriedly. "W-why?" I asked. A strange ship was getting close to us. "Who are they?" I scaredly asked. "Don't worry, I-I'll be fine, now go!" Farrel said. I felt tears well up all through my eyes, but did what I was told. I stood behind a large tree, sobbing as I watched my family being carried away by Robotnik's henchmen. I slouched down, and cried some more. Why today? Why when I was THIS young? I thought. I grew up alone then. THE NEXT FEW SAD DAYS LATER... I woke up, as usual, and went to the city. I had no money, so I just used all the training skills I had been taught from Farrel. I was starving! I saw someone come out of a grocery store with A TON of food. I wonder if they would mind if I 'borrowed' some food... I sneakily walked up to their cart of food and carefully took some food out when they weren't looking. After I was done, I walked to the outside of town, with some trees, and sat down to eat. Yes, that was how I was living every day of my life. Pretty sad right? The next day, I felt a song in me... A very, warming song. After the song, I said, "What was that?". My senses told me to walk to a building. I've never been there before, nor have I seen it...
