Chapter 1
Against His Will
"You WHAT?" Harry demanded.
"I thought it was a good idea!" Hermione said, exasperating.
She, Harry, and Ron were sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room. It was noon. A free period for them, since it's their sixth year.
Hermione had ran into Pansy Parkinson in the library on her way there. Insults came and go, then all of a sudden Hermione added Harry into a bet that went a little something like this: Be able to not kill Malfoy for at least two hours at the dinner table at Hogsmeade with Pansy by his side.
The problem? Well...Hermione actually mentioned that she and Harry were a thing.
"You...want ME...to...-" Said Harry.
"Come along to Hogsmeade with me." Hermione begged."PRETEND to be my boyfriend for a couple of hours-"
"BOYFRIEND?" Ron demanded. Hermione continued as if he didn't speak.
"-and I promise you, you won't regret it. I'll do anything." She sat down next to Harry and squeezed his arm. "Please, Harry, PLEASE! I want to prove Parkinson wrong for once!"
Harry thought through it quickly, since her squeezing was hurting him now.
"Fine, fine, fine, I'll do it." Said Harry. "But ONLY for you. And I'm not gonna pretend like something's going on between us-"
"You have to!"
"Fine." Harry blushed then muttered, "But I'm not snogging you alright?"
Hermione's cheeks reddened. "Fine." She hesitated before pecking him quickly on the cheek and standing up. "I'll see you at five."
She walked up to the Girls' Dormitory quickly before her cheeks gave her away again. What she didn't see was Harry's own cheeks reddened as he thought about it himself.
Ron raised an eyebrow.
"What...the bloody hell...was THAT all about?" He demanded of his flushing friend.
"Er," Said Harry,"I think I have a date with Hermione."
