Love Doesn't Dissaparate as Easily as Wizards Do
I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter AND writing, so I decided I should do this! Completely in my head, guys.
By the way, my name in this story is Liv Anderson. I'm a fourth year, 14 years old, in Gryffindor, on Quidditch as a Chaser, and I hang out with the Gryffindors.
"Check it out, Ron!" One of the twins said. Fred?
"A whole box of Puking Pastels!" The other said. No, I think that one was Fred.
"Yeah, and?" Ron made a disgusted face.
"We're gonna dare a first year to eat all 20!" George said. Definitely George.
"Why a first year?" I asked.
"They'll do it!" Both said in harmony. "Unlike you fourth years!"
"Because we're SMART!" Hermione said, rolling her eyes.
"I'll do it!" I said, I can never back down from a challenge. Plus, Fred was cute. Wait, did I really just think that Fred was CUTE?! He's Ron's older brother!
"Really?" George smiled.
"Hell, yeah! Of course!"
"Liv, you CAN'T be serious! You'll get so sick!" Ginny said. I shrugged and took three Pastels for a start.
"Really want me to do it?" I smiled filrtatiously at Fred.
"Liv..." Harry warned.
"Oh, calm down, Harry! She'd be mental to actually eat 20. She's flirting with Fred!" Ron gestured at us. Both Fred and I blushed.
"I'm not mental!" I yelled at him.
"I want to see what happens!" George was impaitent. I shoved the first three in my mouth.
"She IS mental!" Ron smacked his forehead.
"Wicked!" The twins both said. I smiled. Fred handed me a few more and I laughed, taking them. I got to 15 before feeling even the slightest bit queasy. I threw up after 19.
"Damn it!" I cursed myself. Why couldn't I eat one more?!
"Bloody Hell, Liv!" Ron looked at me like I was crazy.
"Told you not to do it.." Ginny looked at me with a smirk.
"Wow." George said, looking at Fred.
"Wow." Fred nodded in return.
I had managed to throw up out of the window, so our compartment was clean.
"Sorry, guys, I could only do 19..."
"Are you kidding?!" George asked.
"That's a record!" Fred added.
"Really? What's the prize for breaking the record?" I bat my eyes at Fred.
"Another Pastel?" George offered. The train stopped at Hogwarts. We had to get out of the train fast. Fred winked at me and left. My heart beat faster.
"Coming, Liv?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah, I am." I watched the mop of red hair walk away.
"Liv! Move over!" Harry said, getting on the carriage.
"Huh? Sorry, I was just, uh, nevermind." I was looking at Fred, watching him to see who he would sit with. George, Lee Jordan, Katie Bell, and Angelina Johnson, predictable. He hung out with those people a lot.
"I know you're starting to like him." Harry said, noticing who I was looking at.
"I don't know what you mean."
"You like Fred."
"Uh, no, I don't. I was being...friendly?"
"Liv, I know you. Luckily, neither Ron or Ginny has found out yet. You're safe."
"Does Fred know?" I bit my lip, nervously.
"I'm not sure. George seems oblivious though. Hermione knows."
"Of course she does..." I sighed.
"...and now, we feast!" Dumbledore clapped his hands. The food appeared and the first years gasped like always, not all used to magic all the time.
I looked to my right, Ron, to my left, Fred? When did he get here? I looked across the table. Hermione, Ginny, and Harry were across from us.
"Hey, Liv!" Fred smiled at me.
"Hey!" I smiled back.
"You're a fourth year, right?"
"Yes, sir! You're a sixth year?"
"Why, yes, I am!"
"Wow, you're old.." I joked.
"Hey!" He laughed. I saw Harry trying to conceal a knowing smile.
"So, you never did answer.. What was the prize for breaking a Puking Pastels eating record?" I bit my lip.
"Hm, I'm not sure.. Want to go on a walk by the lake tomorrow to talk it out?"
"I sure would!" I smiled.
"Wicked." He turned back to George and Lee.
