The teachers there have a starting pay of $10,000 a year (which means the longer they're teaching, the more they're paid), but Wisconsin is running out of money to pay them all and give them their pensions. Wisconsin's governor and others propose cutting the teacher's pay by a little, instead putting that little extra money into their _own_pensions. Nobody else's just theirs, their money going to their pensions. And they're rioting over it. I think they aren't thinking this all the way through

and realizing that it's actualy benefitting them. Instead they're rioting, and taking the students out of school (who, by the way, have missed an awful lot of school already what with the winter weather) without the permission of their parents to go riot with misspelled signs. There are groups that have threatened to burn the governor's house down, or do him physical harm, but they haven't been arrested. They should be arrested for communicating a threat! They've been attacking the governor's

house while his children were inside it They must have been so scared....But nobody will do anything about it. The Democrats have gone to Illinois so that Wisconsin can't pass a vote on anything, since they must have at least one Democrat to hold a vote to begin with. But by fleeing the state, the Dems are breaking by-laws, and they can be fined for it. But, again, no one's doing anything about it.

It's really sad how downhill we're going. And really bad how people don't realize what they're doing. Why take the children?? They could have been harmed, and the parents wouldn't have been able to stop it.
The government of the entire country just needs to be restarted. Hopefully some states will start breaking away from the U.S. and wake us all up!!
