5 am the alarm woke me up, i was so tired after being up til 2 that morning. I got dressed quickly and put my show stuff into a bag i walked out to the yard and looked at the horse i fed him. While i was in cleaning tack and getting all the stuff ready aidan walked down the yard he dropped the rugs beside the stable and walked in to me i jumped with fright as i didnt hear him come down, he smiled and said morning i smiled morning to yourself. he got hi tack and brought it up the yard i followed him soon after we put the tack in the jeep and got the horses ready we loaded thm both up and got into the jeep we left soon after and got breakfast in the shop down the road. after about 20 minutes i fell asleep great company for the drive whe i woke up i had such sore ribs i had fallen the day before on a pole but it didnt hurt i said nothing to him he would of told me not to ride.
we got there early to learn the course and get ready raymond philip there parents my parents ciara niamh and keith were on the team any way they arrived around the same time as us i was jumping last it was about 4 hours away i watched aidan niamh and keith jumping clear we were in the lead with 60 points. the pain got really bad and i was going to tell him but he came and hugged me dont worry ok youll do fine you always do i smiled and got the horse ready aidn tacked him up for me as i went to get changed while i was changing i notcied a huge bruise along my side i walked out and he legged me up on the horse the pain was really bad and it started to bleed, aidan didnt see because i had my jacket on over it . i was the last person to ride everybody was doing really well my nerves really started at me when ray came out and smiled katie dont worry ok you will do fine theres nothing scary in there youve jumped this a million times he stood right beside me i looked at him in a really sore way he understood but didnt really whats wrong katie ray i cant show you until i jump if i do youll tell me not to ok i need to do this he loked concerned now no katie whats wrong if you cant ride you cant ride ok no point in hurting yourself over it i looked like i was about to cry i opened my jacket and he seen the blood on my shirt katie whats the blood from ? yesterday i fell off and fell on the poles i banged my side and cut it aswell but i didnt want to say anything because no katie you cant jump not like that what if aidan found out he would kill me if i knew just then my name was called ray ran inside to tell aidan but by the time he did i was insid in the arena i smiled at everyoe and over to the comentators box i nodded and got ready to jump. from the corner of my eye i could see raymond trying to tell aidan but he wouldnt listen i whspered to the horse dont let me down baby boy im sore and sick please take me around with no problems i jumped over the first jump and the second jumped abotu 5 more and up to the water jump he always hated water but no problems over 3 more and im finished jumped number9 and the horse tripped after it i hit my side off his neck i screamed out in pain aidan jumped up my jacket opened ...............
