love and hate part eleven (by lily! dark night love story gone horribly wrong!)

The Riddler, dressed in green tight jumpsuit with black question marks marched into his apartment seething with fury. He snatched up a pile of magazines and dropped them onto his desk.
“It just raises too many questions, too many questions! Blah!” He spat out angrily as he pulled out a pair of scissors and some glue. Suddenly there was a soft knock at the door. He stopped and looked at the door wondering who it was. He ran into his security room and saw Anna Kyles, one of his only friends he had who were sane.
He gasped and ran into his room and pulled a green bathrobe and wrapped a towel around his head to hide his pinkish- orangeish hair. He took off his mask and rubbed the black around his eyes off. Anna was getting impatient, the door suddenly opened and she threw her arms around his neck. “Edward!” Edward was shocked at the greeting. She whispered into his ear “I know who you are Riddler.”
Edward’s face went pale, but Anna just smiled, she had that effect on people. Anna slipped her hands under the folds of his bathrobe, he quivered at her touch. She traced a question mark on his chest and whispered “Riddle me this Edward, who do I date and who do you hate?” Edward pulled back with pain written on his face.
“Bruce Wayne? But why?” Anna stepped in and closed the door behind her. She shrugged her shoulders and pushed him onto a green arm chair and sat on his lap with her knees on either side of him. She leant forward until her lips were centimetres away.
“But I'm not anymore, old friends... maybe if they kiss me.” She ended slyly with a wink. The Riddler leaned forward and kissed her passionately, pulling her closer to him. Anna could help but remember the first and last time Edward had kissed her...
It was the year twelve graduation (senior prom for Americans) and Anna had her hair stylishly up in a loose bun and an ice blue dress that touched the floor slightly. She wore a silver tiara with queen engraved across the top; she was surrounded by almost every guy in the room. She smiled and laughed at the lame jokes and pick up lines the guys threw at her while all the girls glared at her.
Suddenly someone shouted “fight!” and everyone ran outside along with Anna. Outside was a tall beefy blonde haired boy punching a smaller brown haired boy who tried to get up but was knocked back down. Anna pushed past everyone and grabbed the blonde haired boy and pulled him off.
“Don’t Danny! I told you to leave Edward alone! We are threw!” she bent over Edward as everyone went back inside to dance yet again. “Oh Eddie...” she helped him sit up and looked into his brown eyes. His lip was bleeding but he just stared into her blue eyes like he had just seen an angel. He pushed his bleeding lips onto hers and she could taste the alcohol. She pushed him back and whispered “I'm sorry Eddie...” and ran off into the night.
They hadn’t seen each other ever since, but Edward still had a crush on her and now her had her.
