Poem #1
I'm going to put all of my poems in separate stories. If I do anything different, they won't likely be read. Comment and rate.
Without you in my life,
I wonder,
"How can I go on?"
Then my mind takes a trip,
Into a place once known called "My Memory".
While I am there, I recall
Your loving words.
Feelings overwhelm me as if their passion
Had renewed.
In the journey later,
I recall
A feeling of distrust,
And uncomfort.
That was because
You lied to me.
About everything.
About love,
And hope,
And all of our plans.
Our plans were whisked away
By your hurtful good-bye.
I cannot see
You anymore.
And
I cannot love
You anymore.
