Life is Full of Surprises( Harry Potter love story) Part 30

You sat at the kitchen table eating your muffin, when you looked at the clock, 5:30 you sighed. Everyone in the house was still asleep, but you had to leave for dance soon. The only thing getting you through the day was the fact that in exactly 12 and a half hours the Weasley's were going to come and pick you and Harry up. You cleaned up the slight mess you had made, grabbed your jacket and went out the door starting to walk towards the dance studio.

" Bye Jess I'll talk to you later!" You said as you left the dance. It was exactly 6 and you hoped the Weasley's hadn't shown up yet and if they had they were willing to wait until you got home. You show Vernon's car and got in. " How was today?" he asked. " Fine" You said coldly. The rest of the ride home was completely silent except for the sound of the engine. Thankfully it was only a five minute ride home. You jumped out of the car before it had completely stopped and ran into the house. Harry was sitting in the living looking quite excited. " They haven't come yet?" you asked. Harry just shook his head. You ran upstair and jumped into the shower taking the quickest shower ever. You wouldn't be surprised if you had broken a world record. Minutes later you poked your head out of the bathroom door, but didn't hear anything so you decided to finish getting ready. You walked back down stairs ten minutes later and took a seat next to Harry in the kitchen. You couldn't help but smile at the terrified looks on everyones face.

At a quarter past 6 there was a loud banging sound coming from the living room. You got up and walked to the living room and found out that the sound had come from the boarded up fire place. " Floo powder?" you asked Harry. " Yeah I guess so." he said with a small smile on his face. Harry slowly walked up to the fire place and said " Mr. Weasley is that you?" You came up behind him and Mr. Weasley said " Stand back I'm going to open this." Harry stepped back and pulled you with him. Seconds later the fire place exploded. Petunia gasped and Ron, Fred, George, and Mr. Weasley walked out of the fireplace. " Hello I'm Arthur Weasley and these are three of my sons, Ron, Fred and George." he said politely, but the Dursleys just stared. Dudley ran out of the room looking extremely scared and holding his bottom. You laughed remembering the last time he had encountered an adult wizard he had sprouted a tail. Fred and George went up stair to go get your trunks and you followed behind them to get your smaller bag. " Jeezz! What is in here? Bricks?!" George teased after lifting up your trunk. You laughed and went back down stairs. Mr. Weasley was still trying to have a conversation with Petunia and Vernon, but they still just stared, unresponsive. On his way to the fireplace Fred dropped a bag of candy and before you could say anything he had gone. After him went George then Ron. Finally it was just you Harry and Mr. Weasley. You excused yourself for a minute and went into the kitchen setting a letter you had written to Petunia on the kitchen counter. You looked at the letter wondering if you really wanted to do this because once you did there was no turning back. Once she read that letter she would know that you knew everything, and hated her for lying to you your whole life. You sighed and left the kitchen without another glance at the letter. Dudley had made his way back into the living room and since he had been deprived of anything sweet all summer, he had started to eat the candy Fred had dropped on the floor. Within seconds his tongue started to enlarge until it was spilling out of his mouth. Petunia was shrieking and Mr. Weasley tried to fix it. You were laughing uncontrollably as was Harry. Mr. Weasley told you to go so got into the fire place and laughed " The Burrow". You landed in the fire place and walking still laughing hysterically. " He ate it didn't he?" George asked. You couldn't talk you were laughing too much. Harry came out of the fireplace a minute later laughing as well. " The look on Petunia's face was the best part." you said when you stopped laughing. Ginny came running in hugging you. " _ ! You're here!" she exclaimed. As you entered the kitchen there were too men sitting there with the same red hair as the rest of the family. " _ , Harry this is Charlie and Bill." said Ginny. " Hello." you said with a smile. Mr. Weasley came in through the fireplace looking furious. " Why would you give him Ton-tongue toffee!?" Mr. Weasley asked. " It's not our fault he eats anything he finds on the ground!" the twins said together. Mrs. Weasley came in the kitchen hearing what the twins had done and she didn't exactly look happy. " Let's go up to my room." Ron said so you could escape Mrs. Weasley's rage. You, Ginny, Hermione, Ron and Harry all headed up to Ron's room.

You guys all sat in there for a while talking about your summers. You talked about your terrible dance camp and how the only fun you had had this summer was when you and Harry snuck out of the house. " Does your mum even know that you know about... well everything?" Ginny asked. " By now? Probably. I left a letter before we left telling her everything. So we will just have to see where that goes." you said as if it wasn't a big deal. Ron told everyone about Percy and how ever since he had gotten his job at the ministry he had been more annoying than ever and how Fred and George have been perfecting their ' Weasley's Wizards Wheezes' which was their line of magical joke products. And of course Mrs. Weasley didn't approve of this. After a while you all decided to go downstairs to see when dinner would be ready. Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen cooking dinner when she noticed you guys come down stairs. " Oh come here. I'm sorry I couldn't say hello to you earlier." She said pulling you and Harry into a hug. She let go and looking at the two of you. " My dear! Are they starving you there! You two are way too thin!" She fussed. You smiled and mumbled something and she went back to work as you, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny went outside. You found Bill and Charlie levitating tables and crashing them together it was quite amusing and it got even funnier when Percy yelled out his window for all of you to keep it down.

You and Ginny decided to take a walk by your selves so you could catch up. You told her about the letter from Draco and how you were a little disappointed that you hadn't heard from Seamus. You were in the middle of a conversation when you heard something. You quickly turned around but nothing was there. " Did you hear that? " you asked Ginny. " It was probably just an animal don't worry about it. You turned around and continued to walk with Ginny but you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched. When you got back to the group they were sitting down about to eat. You sat in between Harry and Ginny and ate more than you had in months. For the first the first time in a long time you really felt like you had been with family.

You were awoken early the next morning by Mrs. Weasley, telling you to get ready and too dress in muggle clothes. You, Ginny, and Hermione got ready and headed down stairs still half asleep. If you wanted to get to the world cup on time you had too leave extremely early. Everyone was extremely grumpy from being up so early and started the long walk in the chilly morning air to the portkey which you were to use to get to the World Cup. When you had finally got the the top of the hill you were greeted by Cedric Diggory and his father Amos. You gave Ginny and Hermione a look acknowledging that Cedric was actually kind of cute. Then Mr. Diggory noticed Harry and started to talk about how last year Cedric and beat the famous Harry Potter in quidditch. Both Cedric and Harry looked very embarrassed. "Well to be fair, Harry was attacked by dementors. So if he had not been attack Gryffindor would have most definitely kicked Hufflepuffs butt." you said quite boldly. Everyone just stared at you. Mr. Weasley broke the awkward silence when he said " Oh we better grab ahold of the portkey now." looking at his watch. As you walked to the portkey both Fred and George patted you on the back and high-fived you for your response to Mr. Diggory. At first you were a little confused as to why everyone was holding on to a dirty old boot but at the last second you grabbed on to it and you felt a very odd sensation. You were told to let go and when you did you fell to the ground along with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and George. But Mr. Weasley, Cedric and Mr. Diggory seemed to gracefully float down. You sat up feeling dizzy and Cedric came over and helped you up. " Thanks" you said and you continued to help Ginny up. You started to walk towards the campsite and Mr. Diggory said goodbye and said he would see everyone later. Mr. Weasley paid the muggle site manager with a little help from Harry and then you all continued to your area. After setting up two tents, one for girls and on for guys, you were surprised to find out how big each tent was inside. Magic is great you said to yourself. Harry, Ron and Hermione went out to get water and you and Ginny just wondered around a little bit. After a little bit you ran into Harry, Ron and Hermione talking to someone. " Hey guys wha-" but you cut yourself when you realized who they were talking too. Seamus just stared at you, it looked like he wanted to say something but he didn't. " Uh.. Ginny let's go back to the tent I think I forgot something." you said awkwardly wanting to get out of this situation. Once you were far enough away that they couldn't hear you, you said " Well that was awkward, definitely did not expect him to be here.." When you got back to the main tent you sat down and chatted with Fred and George for a while. When Harry, Ron, and Hermione came back Bill, Charlie and Percy all apparated into the tent. A little while later everyone started to walk to the quidditch field and on the way there you decided to buy omnioculars for you and Ginny.

You all took your seats in the top box. You sat with Ginny and talked until the game started. " You know who was haven't seen today?" Ginny said " Draco." You smiled a little at that and as if write on queue, Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic, and the Malfoys join them in the top box. " Speak of the devil." you whispered to Ginny. Draco sat behind you with a smug grin on his face. When no one seemed to be looking Draco leaned forwards and whispered into your ear " You never wrote back to me." You laughed a little and responded " I've been a little busy." He leaned back into his seat as the game started. First, Bulgarian Veela who enchant the audience males. You rolled your eyes at Harry, Ron, Fred and George because they all had their mouths wide open. Then, Irish Leprechauns form shapes in the sky and drop gold pieces onto the bleachers.
The rest of the game was pretty eventful and interesting. In the end Victor Krum caught the snitch but the Irish still won. After hours of talking about the game and joking around Mr. Weasley made everyone go to bed. So you Ginny and Hermione went to your tent and went to bed. You were awoken in the middle of the night by loud banging and you peaked out side of your tent to see everyone from the other tent outside too. " What's going on?" Ginny asked. Mr. Weasley told Fred and George something and they took you and Ginny by the arm and started to lead you in the opposite direction of the hooded figures. You and Ginny gave each other terrified looks and went with Fred and George. They pulled you into the woods and sat down so you and Ginny did the same. " It's going to be okay don't worry." said Fred although he didn't sound very sure of what he was saying. " Yeah don't look so scared." George said with a smile. There was a snap of a twig and your turned around, but again there was no one there. You still couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watch. After a little while Mr. Weasley had found you and he took you back to the tent. He conjured up some sleeping bags for you Ginny and Hermione so you could all stay together in the same tent. Which made you feel a little better. Mr. Weasley told everyone to go to bed, but you knew that no one had slept that night.
