Civil Curse

i crouched on the top of the tall tower, watching as the werewolves slaved away down below. my black and cherry red braid fluttered in the still air, making my appearance even more mysterious. my silver eyes glowed coldly. "how could they enslave such an innocent creature? it has a pulse, a heart beat. how is this not like enslaving humans?" i whispered to myself as yet another small child of a were fell. the guard raised his wip as the child struggled to get up. i jumped down, making contact with the tower wall as i ran down it.
i came to a halt infront of the guard, arms out protectively. "kill me before this innocent child, sir."
"Tsuki! get out of the way!" he growled. "his life means nothing!"
"he is of the same hight and age as me. he probably stonger then me." i said defiantly. "how does his life mean less then mine?"
the guard raised his wip and struck me across the cheek with great force.
i cried out and fell to the ground in a heap.
"that'll teach you not to stand up for the beasts!"
