I was shooken awake by my twin sister Amber after the long car ride to a new town called: Saraville and to a new home. My family had to move because my dad got promoted and had to move for work. We were parking into the driveway and the van stopped. I looked outside and saw that the house was huge. "Ok girls you each get your own room." Our mom told us smiling. "You mean we don't have to share a bunkbed like we did in our old apartment?" Amber said happily more like a statement than a question. "Hm." I comented and grabbed my suitcase and went to find a room to claim. I opened the front door and saw that the house was even bigger than it looked on the outside. The woodwork was amazing and was full of detail. I walked up the oak staircase and looked around for a while and found a room I liked. It was a big room that had a balcony with a good view of the forest and an almost walk-in closet. I gently set my suitcase on the wodden floor and walked back outside to get some of my boxes from the van. I took them one by one up the stairs and set them down on the floor. I went out to the balcony and saw that the view was amazing I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I looked to my right and saw that another balcony was beside mine and I looked to see if anyone had claimed that room yet and I saw Amber getting her stuff in there as well. Hmm his is going to be interesting. I walked back into my room and started unpacking thinking about what it would be like on Monday, the first day going to Saraville highschool. The next few days everybody was unpacking and was trying to make this house feel like home. I made my room feel full of space (I don't like to be crowded) with my few posters and wall decorations my dad helped me carry up my furniture like my dresser, closet, bed, a bookshelf and a chair for me to sit in. I organized everything neatly and everything had it's place. We had mostly everthing unpacked and Amber and I were ready for our first day of highschool. Monday morning I woke up early and made sure that everything was put in my bag for school. Later Amber came down and she got ready as well. We went out to our car and it was Amber's turn to drive and I got in the passenger's seat and we went to ou new school. We parked and walked out of the school and walked into the office after getting a few stares at from people. We were the new kids, the outsiders and it wasn't everyday you saw twins walking into your school. The secretary Mrs. Brown was quite nice and she smiles alot. She gave us our schedueals and we walked out of the office ot find our lockers. Mine was beside on the otherside of the school my combination being 43-24-39 and my locker wasn't very good you could break into it easily but you could with the rest of the lockers. I organized my locker by the time each period and with school stuff on one side and personal stuff like books, my sketchpad and my ipod on the other. The bell rang and I went to my first class which was math. I walked in and noticed I was the last one in and everyone was saring at me. "Everyone this is Amber or is it Danielle?" "Danielle." "Well this is Danielle Van Cartier. What is your next class?" "History." "Does anyone have history next so you can take Danielle there?" Nobody raised their hands. Great I was going to be late for history too. Then a boy raised his hands. He was pale with dark brown hair and eyes. "Ahh Devan so you will take her there. Ok Danielle take a seat." I sat down in the only empty seat. Math was one out of many subjects I was good at. I finished the work in only 10 minutes and read one of my favourite books "Lord of the Flies." The bell rang. I closed my book and Devan walked with me to history. He didn't talk much but neither did I. The first period went by quickly and it was lunch. I walked into the school cafiteria and saw Amber with a group of people at a table. Looks like she had already made friends She noticed me and waved for me to come over. I walked over with my lunch and sat down beside her. "Guys this is my sister Danielle." I just gave them a quick smile and went back to having my face show no emotion. I quickly ate my lunch and grabbed Lord of the Flied and read until the bell rang indicating lunch was over. Today was like any other people didn't talk to me and didn't want to hang out but that was what I was used to and that was how I liked it. The rest of the school day went quickly and next thing I knew I was at my locker getting my stuff and walked outside of the school to the parking lot, getting a couple of stares from a group of tall pale boys and one of them was Devan. I shivered because of the stares they made me feel uncomfortable. I waited my the car for my twin. She came about 5 minutes later and I saw her look back at a boy who was waslking over to a group of boys they all, including the boy, had athletic tans I knew she liked him. "My turn to drive Amber, give me the keys." She tossed them to me and I caught them, sat down in the drivers seat, turned on the engine and drove home with my twin sister. This new move is going to be interesting. I went upstairs and stayed in my room and only went downstairs to have dinner and I had my music on and was reading and sketching random things in my room. Soon I got tired so I got ready for bed and went to sleep.
