My Magical Life~ A Hogwarts Love Story
Jenna: Curly Brown Hair, Blue Eyes
* This is the only character I made up so far so you know what the others do. *
I sat at the kitchen table eating Lucky Charms. My curly brown hair had turned into frizz overnight, and I felt like a monster. But today, I was now a tween, OMG! "Ugh, Mom, why did we have to move to London?" said my older brother James. "I already told you honey, your father had an offer for his job. Moving for London was for the good of our family" answered Mom. She gave him a kiss on the forehead. "How was your first 5 minutes of being 11 so far, Jenna" said my mom as she kissed me on the forehead too. I smiled meekly.
My dad walked into the room. He was in his navy bathrobe and was carrying his morning caffeine and the mail. "A letter for you, miss" he said. Dad plopped the letter almost in my Lucky Charms. I wasn't dissapointed I only got one letter since my family members live back in LA and tommorow would get them. I turned over the letter and looked at the mysterious H sticker perfectly placed on the back. No one in my family had a last name that started with H. Still I opened the letter.

Three sets of plain works robes (Black)
One pointed hat (Black) for day wear
One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS
"Mom what's Hogwarts?" I asked. Mom and Dad looked at each other in shock. "It's her" whispered Dad.

Then the doorbell rang. James went to answer the door since Mom and Dad were so scared. A woman in a green cloak and a witch hat walked inside. "Jenna is a witch." she said. "Oh, and I'm Minerva McGonagall"
Was I really a witch? That couldn't be true. My mother isn't a witch, and my dad isn't a wizard. But still that mad woman seemed like a clueless stranger. How could she have known my name? "As you know, she has been accpeted into Hogwarts, and we must get supplies" said Minerva. "But where?" my dad whispered. "At Diagon Alley of course!" she replied as if we were stupid people. Minerva took out a stick and waved it.
Next thing I knew I was in an alley with shops lining the cobblestone street. Lots of people were wearing cloaks and gaping at owls and brooms. "Hey, this must be a new stupid fashion trend!" exclaimed James. Mom, Dad, and Minerva appeared next to me. I looked at Minerva. "Uh" I said. "Oh, please call me Professor McGonagall." she replied. "Professor McGonagall, where do we go now?" "To Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. Robes are on the top of the list." McGonagall said matter-of-factly. Our family and her walked briskly to the little shop.

When I walked in the door I saw two boys sitting together. One was blonde and the other had black hair and mysterious scar shaped like a lightning bolt. "I really don't think they should let the other sort in, do you? They're just not the same, they've never been brought up to know our ways. Some of them have never even heard of Hogwarts until they get the letter, I imagine. I think they should keep it in the old wizarding families." said the blonde one. The one with the scar looked me in the eyes and the blonde one said "Pfff, there's one right now, Potter." I flushed furiously. The black-haired boy said something to me in some language that I could understand but I didn't know what the heck it was. Isn't he rude?
