Silver rain

i closed the door to my mustang and scanned the parking lot as violet sighed next to me.i looked over at the short caramel skinned girl and raised a perfectly curved eyebrow at her.
"what?"she asked.
"you just sighed soooo sadly"i said pointedly.
she laughed"and?"
i huffed and turned on my heel towards the school.violet hurried to catch up to her alpha.i walked into the hall of kids overwhelmed like i was every day by every scent sound and sight.i sucked in a breath to steady my self and opened my locker.
violet stiffened next to me and i looked at her curiously.then i caught his scent.he walked through the crowd.his eyes darted to each of his pack mates.they caught his eye and pushed through the humans towards him.
my stomach clenched as i turned to walk away.where was my pack when i needed them?violets shoulder brushed mine.picking up her alphas apprehension she growled.i tried to muster courage knowing if he knew i was scared it would only make the game easier for him.
i walked through the crowd feeling the ominous presence of his pack behind me.finding the nearest wall i leaned against it as casually as possible.he and his pack came around the corner and walked past me.me and violet sighed with relief at the same time.
i turned to walk to class when a strong hand grabbed my wrist spinning me around.i cursed myself.note to self never turn your back on him.
"thought you could escape me huh Ahana "i stared up into his dark blue eyes.his shaggy black hair fell almost over them.violet stood to the side bristling her canines flashed at him but she would step no closer because he was a alpha also."wheres your pack"he said laughing.
a growl shook my chest.
"why should i tell you Arin?"my heart beat sped up from his touch on my wrist.
he leaned down and whispered in my ear
"remember Hana"i cringed at the nickname.
his voice got lower"your mine"
he let my arm go and he strode down the hallway dragging my heart behind him in chains.
i swallowed and violet ran up to me."breath ahana,breath"i hadn't noticed until then that i had been holding my breath.i let it out with a whoosh.i jumped as the late bell rang.
"shoot now were in for it"violet frowned.
we walked into art class and i saw rosette, Erik, Kimberly,and max sitting at our table.
they watched me walk into class and they all shifted in their seats.i glared at them.they hung their heads as i sat down.i gave my pack a once over.i eyed rosette till she looked up at me her gray eyes were quick to look away.then i looked at Erik who didn't even bother to raise his head.his golden curls swished as he turned towards the teacher. Kimberly's straight black hair and green eyes were staring at me intently and i caught her and max's eyes. max's hazel eyes looked guilty and i watched as he his eyes darted behind me.
"ms.jiour i would think you of all people not to be late."i looked up at her.my eyes sent a challenge.like all humans she cowered away from a wolfs gaze and hurried timidly back to her desk.i grinned and leaned back in my chair."you know being alpha is really great"my pack cowered into their chairs except for violet my loyal beta who just grinned slyly.
"today class,i will be picking your partners for a project.you must create a picture of a dream any dram you can think of and be creative"she said wistfully.great i thought.can she get any lamer?i mean really dreams?
"Arin and ahana.max and rosette.violet and Erik."kids hurried over to their partners and i froze. Arin and me?did i really just hear that?violet glanced at me sympathetically before sliding her chair over to Erik.i heard the scrape of arins chair across the ground as he pulled up next to me.........TBC
