Why Did You Leave Me?

After I admitted my feelings,
All you said to me was "See you later; bye."
When I expected so much more
But I really did feel like a whore
After telling you I like you
When you were supposed to be her crush
I didn't want to influence your choice
But I had to speak up, and voice how I felt
How much it would hurt
To see you with her
But then I think, "Would It hurt her
To see us together?"
I really hope it doesn't
But we mustn't contain our feelings longer
Because they can only grow stronger
I feel we really have a connection
And I want to point it in the right direction
Not just an easy girl
Whose motives make you want to hurl
Much like her
But I want to be, someone whom with you will stay
At least for more than just another day
I want you to be happy
I really do
I feel I could be happy with you
So why shouldn't you be happy with me
That sounds like quite the life
So give it a chance
We could brighten up each other's lives
But you haven't taken that step yet
Ah, because of the girl who's loved you for four long years?
Who's cried over you with many, many tears?
But the tragic thing is, you find her boring
And that's why you go on ignoring her
Yet when I neglect you for the slightest second, you
Frantically ask, "What did I do?!"
I wish you could see if we're going to make this work
That I longingly need to know
Why did you leave me?
