Midnight Flying (A Draco Malfoy Love Story) Part 1 (Read Description)

I was walking towards the quidditch field. The tryouts were in one week. She was hoping to be on the Quidditch team. Fred and George would probably get Beaters, and Harry was going to be seeker, so I was hoping for Keeper or Chaser.

I neared the field. Harry was in the hospital wing, so he couldn't help me. Fred and George weren't here anymore, so not them. I could ask Oliver Wood, but
he wasn't at Hogwarts this year either. All that was left were the three Chasers, and I was on my way to ask them. I stepped out onto the field, holding my new Icebolt broomstick I had gotten for Christmas. Alica Spinnet and Angelina Johnson had just landed their brooms and were dismounting. I ran up to them.

"Hey, Winter!" Angelina greeted.

"Hey!" I greeted back, smiling. "So, umm, I was wondering if you could teach me how to fly?"

"Umm, sorry Winter." Alica said. "But we're kinda busy this week."

"Oh," I said, my smile dropping a little.

"Sorry!" Angelina said, running off the Quidditch field, Alica following.

I sighed and sat down on the grass with a soft thump, letting my broomstick fall onto my lap. I lay down on the grass and closed my eyes. But I opened them again and sat up when I heard footsteps

"Anything wrong, Summers?" A voice came from behind me. I turned around, and saw grey eyes staring at me.

"What do you want, Malfoy?" I asked staring angrily at him.

"Well, I saw you lying here and thought you were dead," he said smirking. "I was checking to see if I was right. But, guess not." He said sighing like he was hoping I was.

"Go away Malfoy-- Wait." I suddenly had an idea. It was horrible, but my only chance.

"You're the second best Quidditch player in Hogwarts, right?" I asked him.
He frowned for a second then smirked.

"I guess so, why?" He asked.

I sighed. "Teach me?"
