lets pretend everythings fine

she watched silently as the red drop made a trail along her pale arm. for the first time in what seemed like years a tear escaped and she broke into sobs.She was alone, no one cared about her.she let her pocket knife drop to the ground. she just sat there as the silence engulfed her.her black hair fell in front of her face.she suddenly snapped back to reality and forced herself to smile she wiped away her tears and got up. she got ready for school like a normal girl. but she always remembered her long sleeve shirt. she smiled and told herself to shut up and pretend that everything was fine, but she never for one second believed herself.
