When the leaves fall

The sky poured, the sky lashed out with furry.
"Frost, get back to bed, now." I was huddled against the window. I was sick, though when i get sick i didn't ever really look sick. I twirled around, snatched up my lucky ring and slipped it on.
"Frost, don't think you're going anywhere in the pouring rain." My step-mother warned. A shadow apeared behind her chair.
"Let frost leave, she needs to." My older brother's voice was bearly auidable.She took a quick look at my brother and waved me away.
"Fine, just get back soon." she ordered, and i rushed out the door into the pouring rain. I let out a breath of air which fogged up in the frezzing tempeture. I scurried across the street and into the small patch of woods......
