So This Is Where It Starts

It was almost half way through the school year. I hadn't been in the best mood today...mostly because Austen had turned me down last Friday. But there was another reason, too. I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. All of a sudden, Kristina came up behind me and said, "Hey Nat! What's up with you today? You seem upset. You okay?" I shoved her away. "I'm not in the mood today. Okay, Kristina? So just leave me alone". She walked away with a stunned look on her face. Kristina has been, like, my BFF all this year. She knows when something's wrong...even when I don't. I really regretted what I had just done. I sighed and turned around. And who was there? Madison. Madison had been my BFF last year, too. But she's gotten almost...clingy and dependent on me. It's a little tiring, but I have learned to deal. "Okay, so I was just in English, right? So I sit down and who sits next to me? Charlie. Charlie sits next to me. So we started talking and I think I like him. What do you think? Nat? NAT?!" I had my head in my hands and my books were on the floor. "Just leave me the hell alone today. Okay? I'm not in the mood." She got an extremely pissed look on her face and said. "Fine then. Be a biitch." And she walked away. She's always been a little sensitive, but it never got to me when she went through her little mood swings. She always comes back. I looked at the time and saw that I still had a few minutes, but I started heading to class anyway. When I was walking, something came into my head. It was blurry at first, but then it started to clear up. When I noticed what it was, I turned the corner and slid down the wall so I was sitting on the ground. I threw my books to the side and put my head on my knees. It all came back to me now...everything...
