Black Clouds

Crisp Fall air wrapped around my torso. Wind blew my long light brown hair. A light breeze whispered in my ears. Red, orange, and brown leaves covered the grass like a blanket. Against the sun, tall trees were silhouetted. The scenery was a perfect painting. My hands gripped the railing on the balcony. The balcony was outside of my bedroom. It is located on the back of my tan house. I always sat in my balcony when ever I need to think things through or when I'm bored. Smoke rose from the ground. I glanced down. "Hi Mom!" I yelled down to my mother. She jerked her head in my direction. "Annelise, the steak is ready! Come on down to the kitchen," Mom informed me. I gave her a thumbs up and darted into my bedroom. I galloped down the stairs. I found my way to the kitchen. "Annie! Annie!" an unfamiliar vioce called. I gazed around the room. My grandparents call me Annie. Sometimes my brother Denny will call me Annie. My gut reaction was Denny trying to scare me. "Cut it out Denny!" I yelled. "Annie! Annie!" the voice continued. The voice was deep and creepy. Denny's voice is in the middle. I felt hands hold my hips. I twisted my body around and saw nothing. Denny rushed down the stairs and made and entrence. "I'm here!!!" he commented. I let out a huge sigh. "Denny, were you trying to scare me earlier?" I demanded. He shoke his head no. I tensed up. "You weren't calling my name?" I asked worriedly. "No, Annelise!" Denny said annoyed. I stared into his sea foam green eyes. "Denny!" Denny!" a female voice said. "Is your girlfriend over again?" "Nooooo. Why?" "I'm hearing a girl calling your name," He became as white as a sheet. Denny looked like he just saw a ghost....which he did.
