Three Worlds Colliding

Mayve's point of view
I woke up to feel someone rudely shaking me awake. I grumbled something unintelligible and rolled over, covering my head with my blue and green covers.

"Mayve! Come one!" An exasperated voice nearly yelled. I smiled slightly at the voice and made her job much harder by grumbling again.

"You are the sleepiest person I know! Please, please wake up. You promised we would go shopping." Of course, the voice belongs to my best friend in the whole world, Zoey Parker. She's funny, awesome, smart and talented in so many ways. Of course, she is a bit impatient too.

"Ugh, did I?" I asked, just as my covers flew off me.
"Yes, you did. Now get dressed you I will get your Aunt to wake you for me. Or I can get a cold glass of water." Zo said deviously. I rolled my eyes and smiled lazily at her before shooing her out of my bedroom.

I yawned loudly, turning to my dresser. Glancing at myself in the mirror, I began to grab clothes from the drawers.

I pulled out my blue jeans shorts and pulled a black tank top over my head. Next, i threw on my blue high tops. I stretched and began to try to do something with my hair. It's long, like almost waist long. Brown and sleek straight, most of my friends envy it. I smile at the thought and decide to keep it down.

Next I head into my bathroom and clean my face. My chocolate brown eyes stare back at me and i don't put any make-up on the morning. I'm so absorb at looking at myself in the mirror that I don't hear the door creak open.

"Boo!" Zoey yelled and I nearly screamed.
I placed one hand over my facing heart and the other on the counter where I lean against it.
"I swear Zoey that you are going to give me a heart attack when I'm older." I panted, trying to slow my heart beats down.

Zoey just smiled and said, "Nah. You eat to healthy for me to accomplish that goal...I mean tragic event." I laughed and she joined me.
"Come on, let's go eat and so we can begin the 'adventure.'" I said sarcastically. I was never the one to like shopping but Zoey loves to.

Zo rolled her eyes at me, linked her arm in mine and we went down the stairs to the kitchen where a surprise is awaiting us.
