Sneering (A Draco Malfoy Love Story)

Hey. I'm Eve. Pretty name, huh? If you could see me, you'd think I was beautiful, because I am! But this story isn't completely about me. It's also about my boyfriend, Draco Malfoy. It all started like this:

I was sitting in the kitchen, waiting impatiently for the house-elf to bring me my breakfast, when my dad made an announcement: "You're spending the summer with the Malfoys!" Then he looked as if he was afraid I'd be mad at him. Instead, I jumped up and said, "Thank you! How'd you know that was what I wanted to do?" "Let me see...the 923,794,645 times you've told me?" Oh. Well, he had a point there. I walked into the fire (using Floo Powder of course!) and said, "Malfoy Manor!" I spun, and seeing Draco look at me as if "Oh! She's here!", smiling flirtatiously. Draco blinked a couple of times, looking a bit surprised. Anyway, I smiled at him warmly. "Hi, Draco." I said. "Hi, Eve." There was an awkward silence, then we both smiled at each other. Then he stopped, looked down, and said quietly, "Your room is the second door on the right upstairs." He walked away. What was that about? I was going to find out. Even if it killed me. Well, maybe not if it killed me, but still. I want to know.
