Never Believed This Could Be... (a Jacob Black lovestory)

So, your name is Kate, u are 16, and u will find out the rest in the story.

I know that there is many of the "jacob black" things here at Quibblo already, so I will do my best to be original and not too "Twilight-like" :D
The first chapters are probably a little boring, but I am trying to add some depth to the characters through monologues, and some great lyrical aspects by describing the settings, so.. I hope you will like it. :)
Please, comment or message me if you have any ideas.

Chapter 1

1_How it all begun

by: Anhommis
The raindrops were falling on my windowsill, heavily and flatly. It seemed like nothing could brighten that day up. The gloominess was making me fall asleep. I supported my head with my arm, leaving my elbow on the window ledge and tried to keep my eyes open. Why does everything have to be so bad?!

Well, but let me start from the beginning...

We moved into the countryside two years ago, due to my dad's job. He is a businessman and his job involves a lot of traveling, so when he comes home he likes to just chill and relax. And that was quite impossible in the city. Now, our position is ideal. It isn’t too isolated, but it is a very peaceful spot.
I was 14 when we came here, and wasn’t very happy to leave my old home, but after a few days here I realized that I never want to leave. It felt like I have always belonged here. I somehow felt connection with this place and with the amazing pleasurable energy that is here all around.

As the days went on, we were meeting our new neighbors and made many friends; the Rogers who lived just a street above us, the Poggs that lived across the river and most of all the Blacks, whose house was on the very end of the village- just 3 minutes afoot from our house.
Demi Roger was my age, short and a little chubby girl, with a huge welcoming smile and honest hazel eyes. Her attitude to life has always amazed me- she lives for the moment and never regrets anything. Jackqueline and Geroge Pogg were twins, older by a year and 3 months from me- as they always said. Jacky was really petite, and I was always jealous of her witch-like black hair, that were extremely curly and tough. George was different. He was tall and quite slim. His skin was pale and his eyes round and grayish, so he seemed kind of creepy when I first saw him, but soon I found out how amusing and intelligent he was. We would always make fun of them, because it was like as if their personalities were switched.
Jacky was a tyke and a party animal- what usually goes with boys; George was very imaginative, bright and more introvert- what mostly girls are.

And then the Blacks... Jacob Black. Quite tall, athletic built, russet skin, and deep eyes that seemed to see through everybody. His ancestors- native Indians- built the village up and lived here as a colony. But after the Europeans invaded the land, most of them were killed or banished, and so the original "spirit" of the village disappeared. However, there are still several of those native families living there, and that may also be the reason why the village (a small town in fact) has such calming atmosphere.

Well, all of these people I have just mentioned, and also many more others mean a lot to me. They have become a part of my life and that is what I am very thankful for. But at the moment things are not so ideal, so lets get down to what caused my depression.
