Stay Away From Me ~Blaise Zabini~ Part 7
Okay. I know that the whole Crabbe thing was sickening, but don't worry, it's all part of my awesome plan. This chapter will clear most of that up (;
Chapter 1
Fighting
Blaise's POV
I looked at Belle's sleeping face, filling with rage. At Malfoy, for having her hurt, at her, for ignoring my warnings, and at myself. Especially myself. I knew this would happen. I turned on my heel and ran out of the infirmary.
I stormed into the boy's dormitory, slamming the door behind me. As expected, they were waiting for me. Without hesitating, I pulled out my wand.
"What the hell were you thinking, Malfoy?!" I yelled.
Malfoy smirked. "Concerned about your girlfriend, then? She shouldn't be in the infirmary long."
"Why would you send Crabbe to hurt her? Too much of a coward to get shot down yourself?!"
That wiped the smirk right off his face. He glared at me, eyes filled with loathing. "Not at all. Actually, I was just testing her out. I mean, I couldn't just ask you how good she is at kissing."
"Then why did he break her leg?" I said through clenched teeth, glaring from Crabbe to Malfoy.
"She pìssed him off. It's not like all Slytherin boys find her charming. By the way, Crabbe, you never told me. Does she snog well?" Crabbe smirked, giving me a thumbs up.
"Pretty good, for a filthy blood traitor." He said.
That's when I snapped. I bellowed in outrage, sending hexes at Crabbe before he could realize what was happening. "DON'T. EVER. CALL. HER. THAT." I yelled after shooting a stinging hex right into his face.
" Expelliarmus! " Malfoy called from wherever he was hiding. My wand flew from my hand and was quickly picked up by Goyle.
"Please, Zabini, control yourself." Malfoy spat, sitting down on his bed.
"I'll kill you. If you ever hurt her again, I'll kill you." I said, my voice steely calm.
"Yes, you see that's why I've been trying to get you out of the picture." He said, just as threatening.
"You would have killed me?" I asked, astounded.
"Not at all. I knew Crabbe had terrible aim. So of course Arabella would be hit, not you. I thought, perhaps, you would leave her. You're so terribly dangerous to be around... But, of course, you're so stubborn that you put her in danger."
My hands clenched into fists, preparing for a fight. "Don't tell me that bullshit! I've been watching her ever since that day, you know damn well!"
Malfoy glared at me from his bed. "Listen. As long as you two are together, she'll keep getting hurt. Eventually, you won't be able to protect her. Then she'll be mine. And you'll just have to deal with it." My heart skipped. He was right, but I didn't let it show.
"That's never going to happen. I won't let anyone lay a finger on her." I said finally.
Malfoy snickered. "Believe me, Zabini. I always get what I want. And what I want," he smiled evilly, clearly enjoying the suspense, "is Arabella Waters."

Normal POV
I wavered in and out of consciousness all night. What I saw made no sense. Blaise, terrified, stood over me. Harry and Blaise having a hushed argument. Madam Pomfrey dragging first Harry, then Blaise out by their ears.
When I was finally fully awake, no one was to be seen, except Madam Pomfrey. She said that I could leave right away, and I headed down to lunch. I arrived a bit earlier than everyone else, classes were probably still going on. I ate a quick meal then headed out to sit by the lake. After a few minutes, I heard someone walking toward me.
Blaise stopped right in front of me, his expression unreadable.
"Hi." I said, smiling. I patted the grass next to me and he sat down. He didn't say anything, he just watched the lake. "What's wrong?" I finally asked.
He looked at me as if in a daze, then shook his head and smiled. "Nothing, nothing." He said quietly, taking my hand. I put my head on his shoulder and sighed.
"I love you." He said quietly.
"I love you, too." I responded, turning and giving him a kiss.
I wasn't sure if I had imagined it or not, but as I turned back to look at the lake, from the corner of my eye Blaise looked like he wanted to cry. I turned back and smiled at him, making a silent promise never to give him a reason to.

Blaise's POV
She turned away to look at the lake, and my masked emotions broke free. I couldn't be selfish. Not when it came to her. She turned back again and smiled, and I quickly composed myself. This was going to be hard.
Ooooo, cliff hanger! Anyways, sorry if that got a little confusing. Comment? Please?
