I Fell In Love at Dusk (Draco Malfoy/George Weasley Love Story)

I yawned and slowly blinked open my eyes. As soon as I did, I saw big blue eyes staring down into my face. "Ahh!" I screamed, bolting upright. My pet wolf, Silver, jumped off me. "Sorry, Silver." Silver glanced at me, annoyed, then barked, racing down the stairs. I sighed and got dressed. My dad wasn't there, and neither was my mom. Figures. They're always at work. Anyway, I'm Emily. Emily Moon Dusk. Pretty name, huh? My dad and my mom both have work that starts early in the morning and ends late at night. By the time they come home, they have an hour to sleep and then they have to leave again. So I've pretty much raised myself. They don't even know it's my birthday tomorrow. I brightened up at that thought. I was going to get presents tomorrow! Not from my parents, but from my friends and my boyfriend. We'd all be at Platform 9 3/4, and I'd have the best birthday I've ever had! Wouldn't be that hard. Silver growled impatiently and I got her a bowl of dog food. She licked my hand and ate happily. Then I heard a loud hoot and turned around to see a magnificent eagle owl. "That's Draco's owl!" I said, and sprinted to get to the letter.
Dear Emily,
This might not get to you before we go back to Hogwarts. I just wanted to tell you: we're having the Triwizard tournament at school this year. And you know that every Triwizard Tournament there's a Yule Ball, right? Anyway, I wanted to ask you if you'd go with me. I know it's really early, but you're so beautiful, a Durmstrang boy would probably ask you. Tell me at Platform 9 3/4.

I smiled. That was so sweet. I sighed, and said to myself, "Of course I'll go with him." I stroked the eagle owl who had delivered the message and watched it fly away. I turned to Silver, and smiled. Then I realized I should probably start packing. "Silver, heel!" I said. Silver jumped up and followed me upstairs. I was mostly finished, but now I needed a Yule Ball gown. I opened the closet doors, and smiled. "It's perfect." I said, and put it in my school trunk.
