A Bad-Boy Love
Skye Mathews, Bret King, the Golden couple of Westland High. She is a cheerleader, he is a jock. Both fully commited to the role that their fellow students have given them. So here I am, sitting here with no control over what is about to happen. Why do I keep doing this? What is wrong with me? I could, and have, spent years asking myself these questions. She just couldn’t help herself could she? It’s the first day of school and I am sitting in the principal office after trying to convince the teachers that the fire was an accident, I’m just lucky that most teachers like me and don’t think that I could do anything like this on purpose. When I left the principal’s office I saw Hayley leaning against a wall talking to some eighth grader, probably telling him to give her his lunch money. I walk up waited to see how before she notices me standing here.
“Now say you’re sorry” Hayley told the boy, Adam Westlind, I think his name was.
“Fine, I’m sorry”
“Thankyou” she said smiling, then out of nowhere she grabbed a hold of his shirt and pushed him against the wall “Now say it like you mean it”
“Ok, ok, I’m really sorry for upsetting you”
“And what are you sorry for?” she pushed his cheek further into the wall
“For saying that you have anger issues”
“Thank you, now run along”
“Oh, Hey Skye” she walked over to me “So did you get in trouble?”
“Of course I got in trouble; teachers tend to get upset when you light their trash can on fire”
“Haha yeah thanks for taking the bullet for me, I would have gotten suspended”
“You deserved to get suspended”
“I resent that”
“You should” As we made our way to class (Chemistry) we overheard the school gossip queen, Tasha, saying that there will be a fight between Felix and Aldo after school. This was hardly big news those two gangs were always at each other’s throats. It has been a rivalry that has been going on for years now; everyone knows that if you get involved with either side then you won’t get out, so it’s best not to go near them.
“I wonder what they are fighting about this time.” Hayley said rolled her eyes
“I don’t know and I don’t care, I’m just excited to see Bret”
“Oh, I wondered why you were in a good mood; now I know” he laughed “How long was he on holiday for?”
“Two months, I missed him so much” as we walked into the class room I saw him, he turned around ran up and hugged me, spinning me around before kissing me.
