Three Red Lines (12)

I woke up forgetting where I was.
'Good morning." It was Travis. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah. But I don't remember coming here. I was too tired to think last night."
"Yes you were. You were basically mumbling everything you said. Oh, and um your nose looks a little bruised, do you want ice?"
"No that's ok. It's not that sore." I felt my nose. It was a little swollen. But nothing to worry about.
"Well, my mom is making breakfast you can come sit with us if you'd like."
I smiled. "Sure, okay."
The waffles smelled so good. But they're so fattening. I won't eat them. I sat down in between Hannah and Travis.
"What's wrong with her nose!?"
"Hannah, that's rude."
"I just wanted to make sure Travis didn't do it."
"Why would I do anything like that?" Hannah just shrugged and took some food.
"I'm sorry about that. Are you okay?"
"Oh no it's fine. And yes. I just uh tripped in the bathroom last night." I looked at Travis so he wouldn't say anything about it.
I took some fruit and put it on my plate. I had to eat so Travis' family wasn't suspicious.
"So did you have fun last night?"
"It was a lot of fun actually. I haven't really been out in a while." I think I was the most happiest I've ever been last night.
"Well that's good."
Breakfast was really nice, even though I didn't eat much. Travis took me over to his living room.
"Hey, I have a lacrosse game today, do you want to come?"
"Yeah, I'd love to. But, I want to go home to shower and change first."
"That's fine. I'll drop you off now and come back for you in about an hour."
Travis pulled into my driveway and I got out. "Thanks, I'll see you soon." As he left I ran inside.
"Hello, was last night fun... Oh my god, what happened to your nose?"
Chill out there Ella."Nothing I tripped and fell, that's all."
"Do you need anything?"
"No. I'm going to my room now."
I got a quick shower then changed. There wasn't time to dry my hair so I left it dry to it's natural curls and fixed my bangs. I decided to wear a 3/4 sleeve shirt and skirt. It was almost 11, Travis would be here any minute.
On my way down the stairs I heard the doorbell. "I'll get it." I walked to the door to see Travis.
"Woah, you look pretty."
"Thanks."
"Ready?" I nodded and we left. "Did Clark leave already? Cause he can ride with us."
"No, he just left." We pulled into the school parking lot and got out.
"Well I have to go to the locker room, but I'll see you down at the field."
"Okay." I started to walk down to the lacrosse field. There's no place to sit, so I have to stand. I choose a spot by near some travel chairs.
Some kids from school were staring at me. A few guys came over to me.
"So why you here." Don't talk to them just ignore them. "What, you're not gonna talk to me?" I kept quiet. "Who you here for besides your brother. You never come anywhere." I still didn't answer. "Answer me."
I don't think I will.
