Does My Story Idea Sound Good?

Its based off two books called Perfect Chemistry & Rules of Attration. Its about a guy; Mario, who is forced to join a latino gang by his brother Luis. And his girlfriend; Mellissa, has to deal with a bunch of problems like Mario gets arrested for drug possesion & gets a girl named Ariel pregnant. But while it happens Mellissa is kind of sensitive and breaks up with him a lot, and easily forgives him; making a super complicated relationship. Does it sound good? Any ideas to make the plot better? Any ending ideas? Any feedback? Anything bad? Comment below your opinion/ ideas/ feedback/ endings!
