I was walking home form school, and I heard a sound. I turned around and I followed it into a dark ally. I stop right then and there.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Then I heard a sound. My heart was beating as fast as it could, and I turned around.
"Hello?" I said again in my italian voice. Then I was slammed on the ground. I looked up, there was a pale white man with bloodshot red eyes looking right at me.
"Hello beauty. My name is Demetri. What is yours?"
"Not telling you."
"Fussy eh? Well how about we try is?" He bend down and almost bite my neck, but I punched him in the eye and ran off.
"Your never going to get away form me!" He shouted. I was running as fast as I could. But I wasn't as fast. He was gaining up to me. I didn't know what to do. Should I scream for help? Or should I just die? He jumped on top of me and I fell down.
"HELP! HELP ME!" I screamed.
"Oh your never going to get help."
"ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!" I shouted again.
"Scream all your want, but no one is going to hear you." Then he bit me. I felt pain in my neck. First it was hot, then it was too hot for me. I couldn't deal with it.
"HELP PLEASE!" I screamed.
"No one can help you now."
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?"
"Oh, you'll find out."
"TELL ME!"
"I'll tell you after it's done." I screamed loader. The pain was going form my neck to my heart. I could feel my heart moving faster, and faster and faster. I tried to move my arms, but they felt like the whole world was on them. I looked up and he was standing there eyes open, about an inch away form mine. He got up and looked at me.
"There. all better." It didn't feel like it was all better. It felt like I was still dieing.
"Kill me. Just kill me."
"Oh, that, well, it's almost over." It felt like it was almost over. But I was still screaming.
"Now it's done." I could fell the heat going away, I could see everything, but I didn't know what to do next. My trout was still burning.
"It's all better. Aro will like you." I might keep you for myself. He thought.
"Wait, what did you just say?"
"It's all better. Aro will like you."
"No, not that. Was it 'I might keep you for myself'?"
"Oh, I see what you are." You can read minds.
"Hold up, read minds? you must be crazy."
"Nope, I'm not, I'm right really. You my dear, can read minds. Lets get you back to Aro. I'll race ya."
"Wait what?" Then he ran off. I didn't know what to do, so I just ran with him. I gained on him, and he ran up a hill to a town called Volterra.
"Were are you taking me?"
"Welcome to your new home." We ran to the city, and then he threw me down a hole and we walked to a door and he opened it.
"Aro, I have someone that you would like to meet." Yes, yes he would.
"Ok, this is getting weird." I said. Jane's going to hate you.
"Wait, who's Jane?"
"I'm Jane. Demetri, what do we have here?" Yes. I do hate her Aro.
"Ok, why do you hate me? And who's Aro?"
"I'm Aro. Whats your name child."
"Annabeth"
"Welcome."
"Thank you."
Jane is going to hate you. he thought again.
"Wait, can you tell me whats going on?"
"You didn't tell her?"
No sir Demetri thought.
"Well, your a vampire with a gift. Elezar, could you tell me what her gift is?"
Wait, I'm a vampire?
"Yes."
Remember the burning? You were changing. Demetri thought.
"Aro, she is a mind reader." Jane's eyes were wide.
"Carlisle, can you show her around?"
"Yes." A pale tall, blood shot red eyes, and dark blond hair.
"I'll show you around." After we were out, he looked at me.
"It's time."
"Time for what?"
"To runaway with me. We have to."
"Why?"
"Because. You don't want to live here."
"Ok. Lets go." We ran out of the building, and out of the city into France. We swam into a river and crossed it.
"There. We should be good." I said.
"No they will still find us. We must get out of France, and go to the United States."
"But why?"
Because they will find us. We must go.
"Ok, lets." We got on a plane to Forks Washington. But before we left. Carlisle found a job.
"We should be leaving."
"Lets stay for a little bit."
"Ok. I'll find a house."
