Is it all but a silly little dream?
Capturing our minds late at night, dazed fall.
Something so cutesy, sugar coated screams.
Something so small, won’t remember at all.
Sometimes it feels so real, so amazing.
Sometimes it’s absurd, floating so helplessly.
It is ever so exhilarating,
Swaying peacefully with the melody.
Then you’re running from your little secret.
Something you don’t ever want them to know.
You can’t rise about it, stuck beneath it.
Always played in repeat, stays as a show.
But no matter what, it’s my fantasy,
What I fall back on, this dream is for me.
