“hey Caitlin!” I said walking past her going to my room. Camille left a few hours ago. I texted her but I didn’t get a response yet. I walked into my room and I dropped my stuff on the floor. My mouth hung open and I ran to my desk. A sticky note was attached to the packet I didn’t want Camille to see. It read:
Christian-
let me get this straight....
i love you. you say you love me but you really love her?
wow i am reaaaaally that dumb not to see this happen.

My mouth went dry. My hands went numb. I couldn’t move. We were just together and now we are… not. I grabbed my cell and dialed her number. It went straight to voicemail. I dialed it again and again it went to voicemail. my eyesight went blurry and I couldn’t see anything. I felt the hot tears steam down my face. I crumbled to the floor. Camille had to let me explain. Alyssa, that girl, I didn’t love her. she reminded me of Camille. that’s why I went out with her. after I told her I loved her, she broke up with me and I said camilles name. i told her about Camille. now I lost Camille…again.
“Christian, mom wants your-” Caitlin stopped dead in her tracks. She stood about 5 feet away from me.
“not—now, Caitlin.”
“I’m sorry. I tried to reason with her but-”
“reason with her? you knew? How could you Caitlin!”
“I’m sorry-”
“save it Caitlin. Get out!” I growled.
She left and I turned away. Then I saw something sticking out of the trash. I walked over to it and picked it up. It was a note and a song from Camille. it read:
Dear Christian,
I love you. I know you love. I have loved you since July 27,2009. You are my everything. When you told me you loved me, I felt giddy and my stomach flopped. Seeing you after not talking for so long made me realize I need you. I’m glad you are there for me. Nothing can come between us. I know you love and I love you. If you weren’t in my life then no one would love. Every day I thank God, I thank Him for love. I thank Him for life. I thank Him for you. I cant believe its been a month and I have to go back. I have one more day with you and then I leave. i think back at all the wonderful times we had. When I smile, cry, get hurt or bouncing off the walls, I know you are always there for me. Forever and Always.
