Poem #2
Hey guys, I wrote this story. My friend thought about drowning herself, now she is happy and I'm going to get picture of me and her at school tomorrow!
I lie limply beneath the waves,
Their icy chill my obsession.
Water rushing from my face to my lungs,
Sweet death grasping me.
Painfully dragging me under with its
icy
cold
and unforgiving claws
I'm numb to my bones,
I'm too far away for you to scream at me,
Or to try and "save" me.
I've almost been released from this unmerciful world.
But then I am awoken.
Lying on hospital sheets,
I feel my freezing body regaining life.
MY ATTEMPT FAILED
