For this is me

Every day is like going on vacation,
You may be planning what you’re going to do.
But you never know how it will turn out.
For this is me every day.

At school I don’t know what will happen,
Will I get good grades or will they be bad?
I write, I wait, I think.
For this is me in school

At home I spend time with my family,
I feel the love from parents, and pets.
I wish I could stay forever.
For this is me at home.

With my siblings I feel I miss them most.
They left my life to live on their own,
I wish I could once again cherish their presence.
For this is me with my siblings

With my friends they keep me grounded.
They show me what is right and wrong,
While being there for me all the time.
For this is me with my friends.

With my boyfriend I feel so special.
He makes me feel on the top of the world,
Hugging, kissing, holding my hand.
For this is me with my boyfriend.

In my future I want to be happy.
I want a family, friends and love.
To be excited every day I wake up.
For this is me in the future.

When it is my time to leave,
I want to have no regrets.
That I lived life to the fullest.
For this is me at my death.
