love and hate part nineteen (by lily! dark night love story gone horribly wrong!)

"Anna, you know I love you..." started Bruce. Anna quickly looked up at Bruce. 'No! please don’t say that! don’t tell me your breaking up with me!' she thought desperately.

"What are you trying to say Bruce?" she whispered hoarsely. Bruce grabbed her hand and hesitated. his face was pale and his hair was still wet from the shower, Anna had changed into a flowing black night-gown and he soft hair was flowing down her back.

"What I’m trying to say is... Anna I want to take the next step: marriage." Bruce said. Silently praying to god she would say yes. Anna went white with shock, she wasn’t ready for this, and neither was he. before she could tell him this, the door banged open and the room filled with green gas. Anna and Bruce slipped to the floor. Someone walked up to Anna and pulled her body up and whispered in her ear.

"Not this time Anna Rose Kyles!"

"Edward?" she murmured as she slipped into a deep sleep.
