Hunt - book 1
this story is also active on the website Stardoll.com in the club ChildsOfArtemis if you want to have a look and is usually updated at least twice a day. if not well me and my friend will are gonna keep writing it down here and update as much as possible our first book is this one, i hope you guys like it!!!
this book is written kinda like the percy jackson series so it will involve a lot of greek mythology and fantasy mixed with reality (although mostly fantasy proberly)
Introduction/ blurb
life as a demigod as never been easy, life as a hunter is never easy and life is a god well i think you get it. when we got a quest from olympus we never expected to be thrown into this world and our lives are nothing like they once were. wait im proberly getting ahead of my self, this is the story of me (aurora) and my best friend will and our adventure from hunters to heroes......
Normal vision
Night, my favourite time of the day, when all the world is asleep and new beauty can be discovered. unlike the other hunters i dont normally sleep so easily not because i cannot but because i choose not to sometimes. i still taste the rush from the days hunt in the air and the smell of wild boar/pig is still clinging to the faint breeze which softly stroaks my wispy aurburn hair. everyone says i look too much like my mother but i dont really mind about how i look, never have never will and although it could be dangerous to look so much like her it makes me kinda different as all the other hunters usually look like their mortal parent than their godly parent but then again i never knew my dad at all so i cannot really say what he would look like as Artemis would never in a million years tell me (before you ask yes Artemis is my mum trust me it wouldnt take a genius to figure it out of you saw me) then again would i want to know? these are the type of thing i think about while the rest are asleep."Ok! Guys! Wake up! Somebody has send a massage!" its at that moment everyone snaps awake, i turn to notice that it came from Will (one of the girls on the hunt). she kinda looks startled as her dark brown hair is standing on end (proberly from sleeping or the hunt) and her silvery blue eyes bugg out as if she has seen a ghost."so what does it say?" Jessica (again hunter) calls as everyone gathers round, even i jump down from the tree i was in inorder to listen in. will then whips out a letter from her side "It says: Help me! I am scared I ate from the wrong tree en now I am underground..., anyone have any ideas?" will then passes the letter round before it disapears, the message reminds me of a description of someone. "I think it’s maybe Persephone, if I remember right it said: “help me! I am scared, I ate from the wrong tree and now I am underground” if you remember Persephone ate a pomegranate from a cursed fruit tree from the underworld therefore she had to stay in the underworld with Hades for half the year as she ate 6 pomegranate seeds, maybe something’s happened that means she must stay all year and as everyone knows she hates it down there." suddenly everyone looks at me then themselves as if to say "why didnt we think of that? its simple now"
"Yeah! U figured out! That is it, do U know what we can do? we can't just walk into the Underworld, say hey and walk away with Persephone"
i remember i have something from when i used to go to camp that might help "well I have a map of the underworld" i take out the map from my bag which i havent used since i was 12 "and there are ways out; Theseus, Hercules did it and Hermes does it nearly all the time"
"great, Too bad we can’t ask them" pippa pipes up
"But we could ask the maiden of delphi by a iris message for some help" haley offers
"agreed"
"since when have you become Thalia Aurora?" Demi questions
"i never said i was did i Demi but we have got to do something"
will:"wasn't there a myth about a guy that gets his girlfriend to playing music an later she may come and then he looked at her? Yes? The point is: how does he come in?"
i throw a dragma into a nearby stream
"Delphi, maiden of Apollo"
then like normal the delphi apears in a hologram like scene, silence falls through the hunters (which can be unusual when Artemis is not here)
"can you please help us? Please, we really need information for the message" i continue
the delphi looks different from the last time i saw her older some how yet then again it might be the hunters gift of not aging, her red hair is longer than last time and sees a little taller but is still wearing her trade mark over sized t-shirt and doodled jeans. i hate to admit it but Racheal looked like a adult no matter what she was wearing.
Racheal: " a entrapped queen called
To the maidens hunters for help that was not foretold
2 will make the grades
O travel to the realm of Hades
A past to reveal
And a deceased to prevail
From Persephone traitor that bound her with mortals hands
He hell crosses last stand"
will: "great... you're hoping on something like: they're goanna eat a big ice cream and they lived happily ever after, And than you get this....not being disrespectful or anything"
racheal: "the prophecy is only by sight
Sorry thy cannot shed some more light
Now I must abide you ado
Or as this century says see you in a few"
the message then fades and racheal is gone and 2 of us have a new quest or 2 of us a certain death waiting (its literally the same thing)
me: "There is no alive child of Hades huntress, the pearls would take too much time, there is no way we can get Hades to let us out, so any other ideas?"
Will: "Just ask Hades as really nice girls?"There is a way to get into Hades. Die. One dies and let the others in. With this" she then pulls out her dagger....wait is she gonna kill herself?
me:"no! I'll never will let anybody hurt Hunters! inclueding themselves, its suicide"
Will: "I will let you in, wish me luck"
i know will, she honerable and noble yet she cannot let go of a task and wont let anyone get hurt plus can be sturborn, i cannot believe im gonna do this
me:"your not going alone" everyone then looks at me again as if to say umm why? i pull out my bow to show that im being serious about it
me:"I’m coming with you; you cannot do it alone as even the moon shines with a thousand stars"
Will: "who has to lead the others?(if you wondering where thalia and artemis is then they are both on solo hunts for reason they wouldnt tell us about) We can't go together. One has to stay alive! I will go. I wont let you or anyone else get hurt."
i dont have the time to argue if pereshone is in trouble as every minute may count however im not letting her go unprotected and no way of contacting us. i give her a silver oval capsual with a thin black streak down the middle and my map
Me:"it’s a cats eye viewer, open it and we will see everything that you see and this map of the underworld will show us where you are. Now go before I change my mind"
Will: "well i guess its goodbye for now"
and with that one more hunter passes as her daggers blade plunges into her heart with a fatal blow, like some hunters bodies hers turns to dust and is carried away in the wind a sign that her soul is now in the underworld. we cannot do anything but wait which is the worst thing anyone could be asked to do at least she would have the capsual which can travel with the soul along with her weapons but the underworld is dangerous. i should know that, every hunter knows it, every demi god knows it. Its up to will from here on, there is nothing i can do although it pains me. Again there is nothing i could do but wait.....

Wel... If I may be fair. I don't really like it. Shall I write the first part? Than can we choose later which is the best.
I just write farther but maybe you need to write it a little bit more relaxt. Its good but it isn't a relax-read text. Maybe you can change it.

But you have to scrap Thalia and Artemis, well... The fisrt time we meet her, we really meet her the first time. So she' isnt part of the hunters. In the first parts I wrote the stood that I was leader, but we can change ghat to a shared leadership. You said that you grabbed the map that.... 12 years old. Try to avoid that things. We have to look like empty characters till we had Arachne. Later we can do that. I'll write an intro about the hunt before your chapter, to make clear that its about
greek gods and what exacly or position in this whole story is. I will put the things we have now+ intro in a word document and put an other flower on the website. Can you change your text yourself, I don'y like it to do it for you. My aunt is prof. Writer and she says its very very very good. :D.

Can you write th next parts? I have nothing too do... If you have a lot of homework just write it very short. (on Stardoll and Here) it isn't touched in 5 days! (record!) I think both are fun parts to write. Success with you homework!
