Howls of Love

Then smell of the humid La Push air calmed down all my anger. I couldn't take my parents anymore they were so strict; no sports, no religious freedom and no freedom of speech. I was told what to do, what to wear, where to go and when to go. Most girls my age will do anything to have rich parents, but there's another side of the story. So after my 'argument' with my parent I decided to move in with my Uncle Sam and his fiancée Emily.
I romed the wet streets of La Push until I found a little house
"This is it" I whispered to myself
I slowly stepped on the porch, gripping tight on the rails. I was about to knock when the door opened and a big, muscular man came out
"Stevie!!!" My uncle yelled and gave me a bear hug
I giggled and he put me down
"You've grown Stevie, how are your mom and dad?" he asked
I looked at my two feet
"filthy rich" I mumbled
Sam nodded and we stepped inside. I was so not used to this, I grew up with priceless furnite, paintings, statues, decorations and here I am living in a shaggy small home. I didn't mean to critizise but it looks......... Roomy
"I'll show you your room" Sam said and pulled me upstairs
I smiled at my new room, it was green with a king sized bed, a decent closet, and a large window
"Thank you!!" I squealed and gave him a big hug
"So I heard you went to graduated from La Guardia" Sam spoke
I nodded in response
"Well I'll live you alone for you can get settled in" Sam said and left
I put all my clothes in the closet, hung posters up, and did some personal tuches. Once I was done I went downstairs straight into the kitchen. I saw a girl with black hair and tan skin cooking something on the stove. I couldn't make out her facial features since she was turning around
"Umm hello?" I said and she turned around
There was a hideous scar that covered one side of her face. I looked at the ground to stop myself from starring, she was really beautiful.
"Hello I'm Emily, Sam's fiancée and you must be Stevie" she greeted me and have me a warm smile. She reached out her hand and I gladly shuck it.
"You're Sam's fiancée?" I asked still not buying it
"Yes, is there something wrong?" she asked hurted
"No no no, is that how can SAM get such a pretty fiancée!?" I replied still surprised about the current news I had just recieved. Emily laughed
"Want to help me cook?" she asked kindly
"Um okay but I've never cooked before" I chuckled
"Then I'll teach you" she insisted
I smiled and began to chop things, peel things, boil things, you get the picture.
"Wow do you always cook this much?" I asked her
"Yes" she chuckled at my reaction
"Where's Sam?" I asked looking around to see if he was anywhere to be spotted
"Umm h-he went to do some stuff" She stuttered
There was a long moment of complete silence
"So La Guardi Huh" she broke the silence
"Umm yeah" I replied
"What are you in for?" she asked
"Dancing" I replied
"sweet" was all she said
I sat on the kitchen table and laid my head against the table. I must of fallen asleep because I heard some one yell
"Stevie!"
I jumped
"64!!!" I replied and looked up with my eyes wide opened
"What?" An unfamiliar voice asked
"Okay moving on, Stevie these are my friends Paul, Embry, Quil, Jared, Leah, Seth and Jacob" he introduced his friends
"You can call me Jake" I'm guessing Jake said that
I nodded and smiled and he smiled at me too
"Jake just impr-" Quil was cut off my Embry's elbow hitting his ribs
"Oww" Quil whinned and glared at Embry
"Umm okay so foods ready" I changed the topic
All the guys sat at the seats around me an started eating like animals. My jaw was just chilling on the floor. They all looked at me and laughed nerviously and ate slower or should I say slow. Once we were we went outside and everyone just chilled. I laid back on a tree trunk and Jake sat besides me eating an apple
"So you just graduated from high school?" he asked taking a bite of his apple
"Yeah" I replied looking at Seth and Embry who were tackling each other on the floor.
"Me too" he added
Jake threw the apple core at the trashcan infront of us that was about 3 uards away but he missed
"Fail" he chuckled and I laughed
"Watch and learn" I said
I got took a rock from the grown and pretended I was gonna throw it in but undead I walked over to the trashcan and throw it in
"You're a natural" Jake chuckled
"I got skills" I commented
We laughed again
"What's going on in here?" Seth asked wondering why we were laughing
"Nothing" I replied
Seth looked at me
"Lies" he mumbled
"How old are you?" I asked
"17" he answered proudly which made me chuckle
"Sweet" I whispered
"Why? You dig the Seth?" Seth asked moving his eye brows
"You wish" I noted
"Sorry but I'm taken" Seth ignored my last comment and walked away with pride
"Conseeded much?" I mumbled and Jake let out a roaring laugh
It got late so I decided to call it a night
"I gotta go Jake" I said and left
"Goodnight beautiful" I heard Jake whisper and I blushed
