I can officially say this is the end. Thanks to everyone that has commented and please check out other stories I post!
Chapter 1
Epilogue: Five Years Later
"I put Norah to bed," Scorpius whispered to his wife.
"Finally," Lily said putting her hands on her swollen belly. "Maybe it isn't such a good thing she inheirited my personality," she said with a dry chuckle. He sat down next to her on the couch and she curled up against him. They both went back to reading, until Lily tugged on his arm.
"What?" he asked
"The baby kicked!" she said and grabbed his hand and put it on. "Can you feel it?" he nodded and looked at his wife. Her blue eyes wide; a smile played across her lips. She was only twenty-three and a healer at St. Mungo's. Scorpius worked as an auror, but thought about becoming a teacher at Hogwarts later on. That's when there three year old daughter wandered in. Scorpius got up.
"What are you doing up?" Scorpius asked playfully picking her up. "Had another bad dream?" he asked. The girl shook her head. "Couldn't sleep," she said. "Can you tell me a story?" she asked.
"Little girls should be in bed, it's already late Nor," he said to the little girl that was already starting to fall asleep in his arms.
"She's practically asleep already Score," Lily said sitting up. Scorpius sat down with the little girl on his lap.
"What do you want to hear? The Three Brothers?" Lily asked referring to her own favorite tale, now that she knew the story behind it of course.
"A new one," she said.
"A new one. Hmm, what about? Fairies?," Lily teased, Norah never was one for fairy tales.
Scorpius watched happily. Lily was a wonderful mother. If you would have told him when he was fourteen that by the time he was twenty-three he would be married to Lily with one little girl and a baby on the way he would have laughed.
"Tell me a story about you and daddy," she said clutching a teddy bear. Then Lily started to tell her about the time her dad got hurt when he was playing Quidditch and she stayed up with him all night. As she started to launch into a story about her Grandpa Harry the small child feel asleep. "Score, can you put her to bed again?" he took the little girl in his arms again and tucked her into bed. Norah was the perfect mix of Lily and him. Her hair was shoulder length and very fine but it had more of a blondish color than Scorpius. She had Lily's blue eyes and freckles.
He sat down with a sigh as she curled up against him again. "You wanted another one?" he asked. Lily laughed.
"Yes, I think this one is going to be a boy. What do you think of the name Isaac or Travon or Rafael. We could stick with constellation names like Leo or Orion or maybe name him after someone. How about Remus?" she asked looking at him. "I think dad would be happy with that," he kissed her hair and hugged her.
"They all sound great," Scorpius said, just happy he was with Lily. There were so many things that could of happend, that they might not of gotten together. But now wasn't time to worry about what if's. Now was time to worry about how soon he could get his wife to stop working before she had the baby (let's just say it was a good thing she was working in the hospital when she had Norah) or if the baby would end up like Lily, because if you dwelled in the past you can't always move forward. If Lily would have held his last name against him, then she might not have even became his friend. But like I said before you don't need to worry about what if's, because all it ends up bringing is unwanted worry.
